Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has drawn Piers Morgan's ire because of some controversial articles about men.

The award-winning actress is the founder of Goop, a wellness and lifestyle brand that offers a slew of clean beauty, fashion, and home products, as well as advice from doctors and other professionals about healthy living.

Articles from Paltrow's wellness brand website had recently described men as "penis-bearing people" and "the people with a prostate," which provoked criticism from several high profile tv personalities, including Morgan.

The Talk TV anchor didn't waste any time criticizing the lifestyle tycoon and labeled the articles' descriptions of men as ludicrous.

Earlier in the week, the tv personality took verbal shots at Paltrow after several posts from her website wellness brand website appeared to target men using language Morgan felt was inappropriate and unnecessary.

According to TheSun, one Goop article said that sex toys are "made for penis-bearing people and their partner while another referred to men as "the people with a prostate." Both instances avoided using the generic terminology for men

"Gwyneth is talking absurd virtue-signaling goop," the Talk TV host said in response to the articles. "A penis-bearing person is called a man. And I say this with some confidence as someone who bears one."

Mike Graham, a colleague of Morgan's, also criticized Paltrow's Goop pieces. He thought that since women do not have prostates, the wellness brand creator's depiction of men was irrelevant. "Penis-bearing doesn't even make any sense. And I don't know any women with prostates either," he said per the publication.

The degree to which Paltrow contributed to the two Goop pieces in question is uncertain as it was not stated in the articles if she wrote them. However, this did not stop the heavy shots from coming in from all angles.

"I suppose we can't expect any better from a woman that made candles out of the scent of a vagina," Graham added, referring to the actress's $75 candle on Goop called This Smells Like My Vagina.

Paltrow had previously shared in a recent Goop video that part of her morning rituals included having an outdoor shower. Following the Goop articles making the rounds, the earlier reveal served as fodder to criticize the actress further.

Paltrow had caused controversy in the past when she introduced an expensive candle, This Smells Like My Vagina, under her wellness business. The item was advertised as smelling like "geranium, lemony bergamot, and cedar absolutes paired with Damask rose and ambrette seed."

Soon after its release, the entire line was quickly snapped up by the actress' fans. Subsequently, she launched a second $75 candle, purportedly containing the scent of her orgasm. This January, Paltrow created another Goop candle called Hands Off My Vagina to commemorate the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

The Hollywood star first launched her Goop brand in 2008. Per her official website, Goop was first created to be just a weekly newsletter for her family and friends. Ultimately it transformed into a product line for branded clothing, skincare, fragrance, vitamins and supplements, and other body products.

Gwyneth Paltrow's Personal Life

Paltrow is a mum to two kids, Apple, 18, and Moses, 16, whom she shares with her ex-husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. The pair met backstage at his band's concert in 2002. They subsequently started dating and got married the following year in southern California.

In 2014, the duo split after a decade of marriage, and at the time, Paltrow received criticism for calling the breakup "conscious uncoupling," per Daily Mail. The ex-couple have continued to co-parent their two kids even though they have moved on to other romantic relationships.

Martin has been in a relationship with "Fifty Shades Of Grey" star Dakota Johnson since October 2017. On the other hand, Gwyneth has been married since 2018 to her second husband, screenwriter Brad Falchuk, whom she met on the production set of the hit series "Glee."
