SPOTTED! Demi Lovato Is All Smiles & Hand Holding With Rumored New Boyfriend

Demi Lovato is one happy woman.

The singer, who is just days away from releasing her eighth studio album, was spotted smiling and holding hands with a mystery man earlier this week.

Photos obtained by Daily Mail show the punk rock princess was photographed holding hands with Canadian musician Jordan Lutes while leaving Lavo Italian eatery in NYC.

The photos of Lovato and Lutes come on the heels that Demi is dating someone new, and is in a “happy and healthy relationship” with a fellow musician.

Lutes, who is known professionally as Jute$, worked on Demi’s upcoming album “Holy Fvck.”

He’s a punk/rap artist based in Toronto.

Both Lutes and Lovato’s outfits from their outing matched the punk rock vibe.

The singer wore a black leather jacket with white graffiti writing all over it. She paired it with a black t-shirt, plaid mini-skirt with fringe and fishnet stockings.

Lutes wore a fuzzy white bucket hat, a black cardigan with white stars on it, ripped jeans and white sneakers.

There is A LOT for Demi to celebrate.

On August 19th, she’ll release her eighth studio album and the following day she’ll celebrate her 30th birthday.

Earlier this month, the “Cry Baby” singer revealed she now goes by “she/her” pronouns after coming out as non-binary and using “they/them” pronouns last year.

Demi revealed on “The Spout Podcast” that she’s been overcome with more feminine energy, which has prompted her to go back to “she/her” pronouns.

"I've actually adopted the pronouns of she/her again," she said during Monday’s episode. "So for me, I'm such a fluid person that I don't really… I don't find that I am… I felt like, especially last year, my energy was balanced and my masculine and feminine energy, so that when I was faced with the choice of walking into a bathroom and it said, women and men, I didn't feel like there was a bathroom for me because I didn't feel necessarily like a woman.”

Demi explained that she didn’t feel like a man either.

“I just felt like a human. And that's what they/them is, is about for me, it's just about, like, feeling human at your core," she explained.

Demi continued to tell the “Spout Podcast” about her change of pronoun identity.

"Recently I've been feeling more feminine, and so I've adopted she/her again," she said. "But I think what’s important is, like, nobody’s perfect. Everyone messes up pronouns at some point, and especially when people are learning, it’s just all about respect."

Following this news, a source told PEOPLE the songstress is in a new relationship.

“He's a super great guy,” the source revealed.

This marks Demi’s first relationship since her brief relationship and engagement to Max Ehrich.

The former couple got together in March 2020 and four months later they were engaged.

However, it wasn’t meant to last for the singer and the actor.

Their breakup was tacky to say the very least, much thanks to Ehrich’s public displays of depression.

By September 2020, Demi was once again single and Ehrich was on a beach in Malibu staging crying photos with paparazzi.
