Max Ehrich Has New Girlfriend After Demi Lovato Engagement

Demi Lovato’s former fiancé Max Ehrich has moved on from the songstress.

The actor is currently dating actress Yamila Saud.

A source exclusively spilled the news to Page Six and says the relationship is “very new.”

According to the insider, Ehrich and Saud “met through mutual friends and have been dating for a month.”

The new couple made their red carpet debut on Thursday, February 24, for the new Hulu series, “The Dropout.”

“He was super excited to have her at the premiere for the first time,” the source said.

The couple exchanged some PDA on the carpet with Saud posting pictures of herself kissing Ehrich on the cheek.

She simply captioned the photo, “??❤️‍?.”

Ehrich responded in the comments with pink heart emojis.

Many of Saud’s followers seem to be diggin’ the new relationship and left many supportive remarks.

One fan wrote, “My favourite couple ???.”

Others replied, “Ohhh! So adorable ❤️❤️❤️,” and “My favourite couple ???.”

Ehrich was previously with Lovato after a whirlwind quarantine romance.

The ex-couple were briefly engaged for a period of time in 2020. They started in March 2020 after the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer’s relationship with Austin Wilson.

By July they were engaged and by September they were done.

It was Lovato who ultimately called off the engagement and opened up about it last year.

The singer, who identifies as non-binary, explained that breaking up with Ehrich was the best decision they ever made.

“Dumping Max was the best thing that ever happened to me,” they previously exclaimed.

For many people in the world, the pandemic, coupled with the lockdown was a difficult experience, especially for people who were used to being outside their homes for long periods.

During a discussion with Kate Sosin of The 19th Represents Summit, Lovato noted that their journey to non-binary and the present use of they/their/them pronouns was not an easy one.

In fact, it was a long process, that was finalized after their breakup from Ehrich.

They went on to say that the entirety of the COVID-19 pandemic also contributed to this decision, which they are grateful for every day. Apparently, during the first week of the pandemic, the “Confident” singer already began to identify as non-binary.

However, they revealed that it was during this time that they met American actor and singer, Ehrich.

“I got into this straight relationship,” Lovato said to Kate Sosin.

Initially, the pair seemed to be going great— with incredible and jaw-dropping photos online, but it didn’t take long for things to turn sour.

Following the breakup, Ehrich was not so subtly photographed by paparazzi on a Malibu beach sobbing.

Not long after the photos were taken, the actor was spotted spending time with “American Idol” contestant Sonika Vaid.

However, at the time of their fling, a source told Page Six that it was all “smoke and mirrors.”

“He wants to make it look like he’s moving on with another woman, but they’re not dating. She’s in a full relationship and lives with her boyfriend,” a source said.
