29-year-old actor and fashion enthusiast Ezra Miller is giving Warner Bros. a hard time as the renowned studio is considering scrapping his “The Flash” film as a last resort. The star is mostly known for their debut role in the 2008 film “Afterschool.”
They are also popular for starring in the 2012 film “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower” and the “Fantastic Beasts” movies, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 2016, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in 2018, and “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore earlier this year.
Recently, the actor has topped trend tables with news of increasingly disturbing behavior. Warner Bros is now reportedly considering last resort options, including canceling his upcoming film “The Flash.”

Ezra Miller Keeps Getting In Trouble
While some felt indifferent, other fans were upset on hearing that “The Flash,” set to arrive in theatres in 2023, may be scrapped altogether. Per The Hollywood Reporter, the studio weighed this option considering the chaos Miller has recently caused.
The actor who stars as the superfast superhero in the film was caught in some legal trouble after being charged with felony burglary. He allegedly stole some alcohol from a resident in Vermont and was arrested for the third time in the last year.
While the film’s cancellation is unconfirmed, some fans have asked Miller to “seek professional help” or appear in an interview to explain his recent behavior before the movie’s release. They have also suggested that he publicly apologize. The blockbuster would then hopefully be released as planned.
‘The Flash’ May Be Scrapped
In response to the situation, the studio has also considered “The Flash” hitting theatres as originally planned without Miller “seeking help.” However, he would have no “prominent role in terms of marketing and publicity,” according to the report. Also, the film would mark Miller’s final appearance on screen as the Flash.
Finally, the studio’s executives thought about canceling the film altogether, thereby risking an unplanned potential $200 million loss. This decision could also affect other popular actors who star in the film, including Micheal Keaton and Ben Affleck.
Fans’ suggestion that the film could “be reshot with a different actor” playing Miller was rejected. This was since the actor appears in many scenes and plays multiple characters. While they’re still considering what decision to go with, it would definitely be difficult for them to scrap the film entirely, considering how much they love “The Flash.”

Prior to Miller’s most recent arrest, Warner Bros. CEO David Zaslav expressed how he felt about “The Flash.” In an interview, he revealed how thrilled and “excited” he was for the movie and confirmed that it was still slated to be released soon.
Despite their prior arrests, the studio was working with Miller earlier in the summer before they were charged with burglary. The actor also took part in some photo shoots for the upcoming film, which showed fans how confident the studio was in the movie at the time.
While some fans have interpreted it as sweet, others have criticized the studio for their unwavering support for the project despite Miller’s recent questionable behavior. The criticism has particularly increased in recent weeks, especially after the company announced its decision to scrap the HBO Max film “Batgirl.”
Ezra Miller’s Other Arrests
Before their recent charges for burglary, Miller previously got into some trouble in Hawaii, where they were arrested for disorderly conduct. This arrest came after an altercation they had at a bar in March. Some weeks after, the actor was also arrested for second-degree assault. They were suspected of having thrown a chair at a woman’s forehead.
The star has also been at the center of other abuse claims involving some minors. They also allegedly housed a woman and her kids on their property in Vermont under some unhealthy conditions, as reported by Rolling Stone.
