Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., gave his fans something to look forward to after he announced the coming of "Tha Carter VI" on TikTok.

The "Lollipop" rapper began the clip by thanking his millions of worldwide fans because he "ain’t sh*t" without them, then said:

"I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but Carter six is in the way, hahaha."

Wayne looked excited about his next body of art as he rocked an all-black ensemble — a tightly fitted long-sleeve shirt, baggy pants, and a face cap to secure his locs.

The 39-year-old was accessorized with a gold owl necklace, a massive ring, and a joint in his hand.

As for his fans, they were all too quick to show their joy at his news by giving it nearly 640k likes and 11k comments. While one person typed, "This man. l been waiting on this one," another wrote, "Finally some real rapp."[sic]

A third fan exclaimed, "BEST NEWS IVE HEARD ALL DAY IM SO EXCITED," and a fourth dropped three fire emojis before claiming, "we’re ready for it."

Wayne’s fans had shown similar concerns when he lost his friend, Robert Hoobler, affectionately known as "Uncle Bob," in July.

The Blast reported that the "Mrr Officer" rapper broke the news of Hoobler’s passing on Instagram with a picture of the late retired cop outside a house.

The 65-year-old appeared casually in a gray t-shirt tucked into a pair of blue jeans. The house he posed in front of held some sentimental value as it was the same spot he saved the former Cash Money Records artist’s life.

The moment will never leave Wayne’s memory, as he indicated in his emotional caption:

"Everything happens for a reason. I was dying when I met u at this very spot. U refused to let me die. Everything that doesn’t happen, doesn’t happen for a reason. That reason being you and faith. RIP uncle Bob. Aunt Kathie been waiting for u. I'll love & miss u both and live for us all."

Many of the 11-time BET Award winner’s followers would recall that Hoobler and Wayne crossed paths following a shooting incident at the latter’s New Orleans family home.

According to police reports, a 12-year-old Wayne found a family friend’s 9mm pistol in one of the bedrooms and decided to fire one round into his chest.

He promptly called 911, and the dispatcher’s announcement caught the attention of Hoobler, who was off-duty at the time.

The late cop refused to let that stop him as he arrived at Wayne’s home and promptly drove him to the hospital for better care.

The Young Money Entertainment Founder Has Love  Locked Down

In April, The Blast noted that Wayne might have secretly walked down the aisle with his model girlfriend, Denise Bidot.

Although the pair have endured a public rollercoaster relationship over the past year, the Grammy award winner made a tweet that hinted that they had taken a big step together.

"Happiest man alive! Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever?? Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters," Wayne tweeted

Despite the joyful tone in the "Sucker for Pain" artist’s tweet, his reps stated that they could not confirm if Wayne and Bidot tied the knot.

Wayne seemingly confirmed that he and Bidot were still going strong earlier in April when he shared a sweet clip of the 36-year-old drawing their names in the sand.

If the rumors of their wedlock are true, it would be Wayne’s second marriage. The father-of-four was married to his high school sweetheart, Toya Johnson, from 2004 to 2006.

The former couple shares a 23-year-old daughter Reginae, who is a rapper like her father.
