On Wednesday, August 3, Osaka addressed the circulating breakup rumors on Twitter by subtly shading those who took these speculations to heart without adequately investigating the truth.

"People really just believe anything and run with whatever lol," the former WTA top ranker wrote, seemingly expressing how ridiculous she found the situation.

While the tennis pro laughed off the false allegations, her fans, on the other hand, were delighted to know that the Japanese athlete's romance with the "Super" rapper was alive and thriving.

Getting numerous positive responses must have motivated the 24-year-old to share more jabs at speculators as Osaka uploaded a picture of herself and Cordae on Wednesday night.

In the image, the BET Award winner traded her usual sporty outfits for a more relaxed look, donning a baggy red top and loosely-fitted trousers while her hair was styled into a low bun.

By her side, the "Today" artist followed the causal theme by rocking a long-sleeve grey shirt over blue trousers designed with white patterns and a pair of sneakers.

The couple huddled together in the picture with the WTA stars leaning over her seat to show the North Caroline native something on her phone.

In the accompanying caption, Osaka explained that the snap was taken yesterday while she and Cordae looked up comments about their alleged breakup.

Earlier this week, rumors about the couple's separation circulated across various social media platforms after a blog claimed the 24-year-olds had ended their iconic relationship.

If the ESPY award winner's tweets did not reassure rumor-mongers that there was nothing wrong with her love story, a source close to the dynamic duo shed light on their happiness.

According to TMZ, an insider claimed that the Japanese native and the rapper were still "happily in love." Instead of being apart like speculators wanted, the rep revealed the pair had grown closer.

The source explained to the news outlet that the lovebirds had been spending a lot of time together, which made one wonder about the origin of these tasteless rumors.

On the bright side, the dynamic duo were bringing the heat in their respective careers, with Osaka making a grand comeback to the court by winning her first-round match of the Silicon Valley Classic.

Cordae also created an incredible buzz with his performance at Lollapalooza. The couple has always supported each other's dreams, whether on the court or in the studio.

The 'Naomi Osaka' Star And Cordae's Fairytale Love Story

Before Cordae and Osaka began their iconic relationship, the 24-year-old rapper knew nothing about the world of women's tennis. However, falling in love made the North Caroline native a big fan of the game.

Looking back at their relationship timeline, Women's Health Magazine reported that the signs of the pair's romantic status first caught the media's eye in April 2019 after the athlete shared an Instagram video with the artist.

A month later, the Grammy nominee attended the U.S. Open, his first-ever tennis match, to support Osaka, and this touching gesture birthed more relationship rumors.

Finally, in July, "The Parables" singer confessed during a radio interview that the dynamic duo had been an item for some time. Still, they chose to keep their intimate life away from the public.

According to Cordae, the power couple believed their private moments were sacred and not something to be shared with the rest of the world.

Nonetheless, the pair made their public debut in December 2019 by returning to the venue of their first meeting — a Clippers game at the Staples Center — where the lovebirds gave the paparazzi plenty of PDA-filled moments.

In February 2021, the couple was featured on the cover of GQ's "Modern Lovers" issue, a solid stamp that proved these talented young lovers were here to stay.
