Pregnant Heather Rae Young: Pregnancy Is Taking Its Toll

Pregnancy seems to be taking its toll on Heather Rae Young, but she declared that there are good days!

The "Selling Sunset" star cried out about the recent unexpected change that occurred to her millions of fans on her Instagram story.

However, the 34-year-old's update comes soon after medical practitioners warned her not to travel to Cabo with her husband, Tarek El Moussa.

The pregnancy experience varies from one woman to another, and for Heather, it was good until she got some unexpected "red blotches and bumps" on her face.

In a series of Instagram Stories,  the soon-to-be mom explained that her hormones had also turned against her as she spent a good part of her day "crying for no reason."

Heather added that she was going to get a facial and see the doctor as her thyroid was "slow," and she needed to be sure "everything's okay."

The reality queen used a filter to cover up the scars on her face as she gave the update to her 2.9 million followers.

With this new information, fans can only imagine how Heather must feel about staying put instead of traveling with her husband and their families to Cabo, Mexico.

In fact, Playboy's February 2010 "Playmate of the Month" hinted at her loneliness with an Instagram post she uploaded on Wednesday.

Alongside three photos of Tarek spinning her around while she cradled her bump, Heather wrote:

"Missing my best friend while he's away in Cabo with the kids and our families, so I'm going through photos that I love of us [white heart emoji]. This is the longest we've been apart since we've been together, so I'm maybeee getting a little separation anxiety [naughty smile emoji].

She then asked her fans to help distract her with the names of their favorite books/tv shows.

Heather's fans needed no additional pleading as they bombarded her comments with books and TV shows to keep her busy. Asides from giving her helpful material, a few people wanted to know why she "could not just go" to Cabo.

As it turned out, The Blast had revealed that the calendar model opted out of the family trip after a chat with her doctor.

Speaking on the issue, a rep claimed that the decision to skip the trip was borne out of fear of the Zika virus and food poisoning.

The California native also stated, "It's not worth getting sick. Chances that you can avoid, you should. Unavoidable exposures are different."

Tarek is enjoying the Mexican getaway with his two kids — six-year-old Brayden and ten-year-old Taylor — who he shares with his ex-wife Christina Hall and a few other family members, including Heather's parents.

Heather kicked off the new month by honoring her man in a sweet Instagram Story. According to The Blast, the actress dropped a monochrome pic of herself in Tarek's arms.

The couple was all smiles as they gazed lovingly at each other and rocked matching white outfits — a t-shirt for Tarek and a bare-baring halter dress for Heather.

The blonde bombshell styled her tresses upwards with a few strands left down to frame her face. The updo revealed her slender neck and dangling earrings.

The expired Story was accompanied by the "Malibu Horror Story" actress's words that read, "Miss my bestie so much @therealtarekelmoussa. I can't wait to kiss and hold you." 

It seemed the duo's picture was captured during their gender reveal party, which Heather ensured she updated fans via her Instagram Story.

The "Love in the Time of Monsters" uploaded various event photos, including the fascinating "décor+details," while appreciating those responsible for the beautiful decorative turnout.

The party, which was held on July 24, was filled with numerous baby-themed designs, including a poster carrying two shoes — blue and pink— to indicate the reason for the get-together.

Heather included views of several positioned glass tiers of frosty cupcakes with colorful sprinkles and the party's fun activities. There was even a "little station where everyone could take their best guess" of the unborn baby's gender.

The real estate agent also unveiled the party's venue — the backyard of Tarek's father, Dominique El Moussa's house, where he grew up. This venue, no doubt, added an emotional touch to the day's festivities.

Tarek and Heather soon discovered and announced to fans that they were expecting a baby boy.
