Kelly Ripa was in no mood for Instagram's little games today – despite voluntarily choosing to play them herself. The "Live With Kelly and Ryan!" host bravely took to the platform to share the results of a filter that guesses your age – at 49, Kelly may be youthful, but the results proved interesting for the talk show star.
Kelly's Friday content took a video format as Kelly got going. It looked like she was playing the game several times over (and getting very varying results).

Kelly's videos showed her looking fresh-faced and beautiful – perhaps with a tiny bit of makeup. The star was wearing a simple, zipped-up sweatshirt in yellow and white. This wasn't one of Kelly's thigh-skimming mini dress looks.
Kelly began playing the game and getting Instagram to guess her age – here, she was semi-smiling.
The result proved flattering for a woman who isn't far off 50. Instagram guessed Kelly to be 27 years old.
"Instagram is a damn lie," Kelly wrote.
But there was more.

Kelly then gave it another go. Here, the star looked into the camera with the exact same wardrobe and hair, but she'd lost the smile.
Instagram appeared to have picked up on this, generating a far-less flattering result for the mom of three. The "All My Children" actress was deemed to be 80 years old.
Kelly was up to something, though. She claimed that she was "getting closer," and she was. You can see the final result of Kelly once again smiling below.

The final video was definitely proof that Kelly's trial and error videos had turned from this into a pattern. Kelly returned for her final attempt, and she smiled.
Instagram placed her at 32.
The video was accompanied by some amusing text, namely Kelly's "conclusion" that if you smile, "you look young."
With her itty-bitty frame and crazy energy, Kelly is a frequent headline-maker on the age-defying front. Quite how Kelly stays so youthful may never fully be known, but the star has spoken out a little.

Kelly was profiled by The Cut in 2019. The interview saw the star speak of husband Mark Consuelos and her motherhood, but Kelly was asked about her fitness.
"I was talking to a cardiologist and he said to make sure your heart beats out of your chest every day. The more you exercise, the healthier it is. And I can be honest: My body looks like Peter Pan no matter what I do," she said.
" I’ve never been a va-va-voom woman. I like to take AKT — which is cardio-based dance classes — about four to five days a week between 3 and 5 p.m. And I like to do SoulCycle on the weekends. In the summer, I like to run in Central Park because I think it’s so gorgeous, she added.
