Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian & More Are Killing The Earth!

Bad news folks, celebrities are helping speed up the process of climate change with their lavish lifestyles.

Climate change has been happening since the beginning of time, but a recent study shows what celebrities are to blame for expediting this process.

Taylor Swift and her nemesis Kim Kardashian are among the most famous celebrities to emit carbon gasses that are poisoning the earth.

According to a marketing agency called “Yard,” celebrities including Kim, Floyd Mayweather, and Blake Shelton’s private jet trips have been polluting the air with tons of CO2e this year alone.

Sadly Swifties, TSwift is the one celebrity who has done it the most.

Yard’s website states, “We wanted to find out which celebrities have clocked up the most carbon emissions from private jet travel since the beginning of 2022. We’ve researched over 1,500 flights to find out, here’s what we found.”

Kylie Jenner’s controversial post about taking Travis Scott’s private jet or hers for a 17-minute flight to Van Nuys, CA. got the marketing agency, whose mission is to focus on “metrics that matter” thinking.

They scraped data from “Celebrity Jets” to measure the “top celebrity offenders.”

Yard’s data reveals that the top celebs have emitted an average of 3376.64 tonnes of CO2 emissions in just their private jet usage in 2022 so far.

Per the outlet, “Average flight times came in at just 71.77 minutes with an average of 66.92 miles traveled per flight.”

Swift is among the top with 170 private flights since January. The report says her in-air time averages out to be about 16 days.

Her flights emitted 8,293.54 tonnes in the past seven months.

Calculations show TSwift’s emissions totaled 1,184.4 times more than the average person’s total annual (yearly) emissions.

Per reports, the average person emits 7 tonnes annually.

Mayweather isn’t far behind the singer. He emitted 7,706 tonnes thus far.

Joining the polluting party are Jay-Z, A-Rod, Oprah Winfrey, and Steven Spielberg.

Kylie actually got the chatter talking after her post and 17-minute plane ride; however, she’s 19th on the list of top polluters.

Her baby daddy and boyfriend, Travis Scott, took tenth place on the list.

According to the Twitter account @CelebJets the Kylie Cosmetics private jet took off from Camarillo, CA. to Van Nuys, CA.

Driving from Camarillo to Van Nuys is about a 45-minute drive depending on traffic. Flying that route privately takes only 17 minutes.

Kylie lives in Hidden Hills, CA. which is 25.6 miles away from Camarillo, CA., and a 29-minute drive depending on traffic.

Traffic in Los Angeles is absolutely horrible and has a great impact on timing.

Now here’s the kicker… Van Nuys, where Kylie flew into, is 15.6 miles away from Hidden Hills and a 29-minute drive.

So, Kylie drove out of her way to fly 17 minutes to Camarillo, CA.

It gets even more unbelievable!

Hidden Hills is closer to Camarillo than Van Nuys.

So, she basically drove 30 minutes in the other direction of Camarillo to avoid driving and potentially sitting in traffic for 30 minutes from her house to her destination.

One person commented, “But we are the ones who are killing the earth because we use plastic bags.”

“Wow. And here I am washing out cans to be recycled,” another replied.

This person pointed out a theme to Kylie’s travels writing, “Kylie seems. To take her jet for short trips that are probably drivable. Seems to be a theme here.”
