Prince William Trends On Twitter With This Unsavory Nickname!

Prince William, aka the Duke of Cambridge, is trending on Twitter, although this would hardly be considered a win for the royal family. Amidst all the wholesome stories of Prince George and his siblings, as well as Kate Middleton doing her best as a member of the royal family, and Queen Elizabeth's health; Twitter is agog with Prince William and his less-than-savory nickname.

The scandalous story has come via the salacious social media handle Deuxmoi, which focuses on unverified gossip. Remember to read this all with a pinch of salt, even if it comes with a side serving of lemon and tequila...

Unlike his father, and then mother, who not only divorced but also took up with different partners later in life, Prince William seems utterly devoted to his wife, Kate Middleton, and his three children, Prince George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

And yet, when Kate Middleton had a falling out with her friend, Rose Hanbury, who along with her husband seemed to be great friends with the royal couple, the tabloids and the gossip columnists sprang into action.

A salacious tale was rendered, where Prince William and Rose Hanbury were painted to have an affair, nipped by Kate Middleton not because she minded the physical aspect, but because of the "emotional" feelings the prince seemingly developed for Rose.

Of course, this is all speculation, and there were some efforts by Prince William's attorneys to quash the rumors, calling them hurtful to all entailed.

Then came a whole set of new rumors, because once the social media mills start spinning tales, it's like a nuclear fission reaction, unstoppable and gathering force on its own.

Stories of the affair soon began to die down, and instead, the new royal in the scope of the press rifle was Meghan Markle. Twitter started to go down a whole new road of theories, that Prince William and his legal / PR team had to have made a deal with the press, in that the British tabloids would stop writing about him and his affair, and in turn, they could write just about anything about Meghan Markle.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry leaving the royal family added fuel to the fire, especially as they later opened up about how the Royal Family did nothing to protect Markle and the tabloids were literally given free rein to talk about her.

Even now, as the hashtag "#Princewilliamaffair" trends on Twitter, the feelings remain the same, with comments like:
