Tristan Thompson Admits 'Responsibility' Despite Being Absentee Father

It appears Tristan Thompson is having a moment of fatherly clarity.
Over the weekend, the NBA player shared a photo of himself with his rarely seen son, Prince.
He shares Prince with his first baby momma, Jordan Craig.

Tristan is coming off of a week-long vacation in Greece and St. Tropez. He was spotted holding hands with a mystery woman in Mykonos before he hopped on Tommy Hilfiger’s yacht.
He also shared a very cryptic post about responsibility and independence.
Tristan and his second baby momma, Khloe Kardashian, are expecting their second child together via surrogate any day now, if the little one hasn’t already been born.
His post read, “1. Nothing is promised to you. 2. No one owes you anything. 3. You have all the responsibility in your life. ‘Understand these three rules as early as possible and realize that independence is the way forward.’”
Tristan Claims Responsibility
Tristan’s post is inspirational and all, but it’s not enough to overshadow his lack of parenting to his third child, Theo, whom he had with his mistress, Maralee Nichols.
He may just be the biggest walking, breathing cliché ever.
In case you didn’t know, the athlete fathered a child with a woman he connected with on Snapchat.
Nichols is a fitness influencer and the two hooked up in March 2021 after his 30th birthday.
Tristan was still in “committed” relationship with Khloe when the conception his third child and second son happened.
However, according to his third baby momma, Tristan has had ZERO responsibility when it comes to being a father to his son Theo.
Maralee Nichols Claims Tristan Has Not Been A Father To Their Son
On December 6, the new mom took to Instagram to air Tristan’s dirty laundry and the let world in on her side of the story.
Taking to her Instagram Stories she wrote, “Transparency and honesty was all I ever asked for. The love we made… The intimacy… and me opening myself up to you and showing my vulnerability… was all a mistake. Never again.”
Her story continued, “I never asked you to leave Khloe. Those were your own intentions with no influence on my part.. AT ALL. Let’s make that clear. I just want you to uphold the promises you made me. The promises you made us…??. You hurt me to the core and I am not okay. I won’t allow you and the Kardashians to continue to live behind this façade and “perfect” lifestyle… when that is not the case at all. People should know the dark truths and they will.”
Nichols also published an alleged message thread between her and Tristan to her IG grid.
In the alleged message, Thompson wrote to Nichols, “Can you please stop? We can talk about this like adults in private… leave Doja and other names out of this. I’ll b in Houston in a few weeks.”
She captioned the post, “Sad that I have to threaten #tristanthompson and the #kardashian family for a response from this deadbeat. Forget the money I just want you to be a father to our child.”
Earlier this year, the fitness model’s representative also released a statement about his lack of parenting.
“Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support his son,” the statement began. “He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance.”
