Singer R. Kelly, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, just refuted claims of being attracted to men. The artist was recently sentenced to 30 years in prison for a guilty verdict following a sex trafficking and racketeering charge.
In a recently obtained report, the 55-year-old made several comments, including a claim that back in 1994, Aaliyah, who was 15 years old at the time, was the one who wanted to be married. He was 27 then and reportedly got a fake ID by bribing a state official. The documents also claimed that the singer faced sexual abuse as a child and had problems fitting in.
One of his accusers was male and claimed that Kelly had sexual relations with him and his younger friend, who was also a minor. However, in the doctor’s report received, the “Ignition” singer claimed he isn’t attracted to men and had never been.
R. Kelly Says He Isn’t Attracted To Men

RadarOnline recently revealed that months after being accused of abusing a male minor, Kelly told his doctor that he was only sexually interested in women. The psychiatric evaluation, dated June 13, 2022, was submitted by the artist’s lawyer before when he was sentenced.
In addition to his comments to his doctor, the report also detailed the childhood abuse the felon went through and some details of his background. This was all in a bid to convince the presiding judge that he wasn’t as bad as he seemed and didn’t deserve decades behind bars. Regardless, the judge still sentenced Kelly to 30 years in prison.
After the doctor inquired about the “Same Girl” singer’s sexuality, the report revealed that he “identified his adult sexual interest as heterosexual.” It continued, “Kelly rated himself a one on the Kinsey Scale. A score of one is defined, by Kinsey, as the overwhelming majority of sexual attraction, desire, fantasy or activity is with members of the opposite sex (heterosexual); homosexual experiences are infrequent and largely experimental.”
Kelly Was Accused Of Sexually Assaulting A Man

Despite the report, Kelly was accused of sexual assault by a young man called Louis. In court, the male accuser alleged that the singer approached him when he was still 17 years old and working in a local McDonald’s drive-thru.
The meeting resulted in the singer allegedly giving Louis his phone number, after which he invited him to his recording studio. Louis also said that Kelly asked him how far he would go to be famous in the music industry.
During his recounting of events, the accuser claimed that the 55-year-old inquired if he had any “fantasies” about men and then performed oral sex on him. Louis said, “He just told me we had to keep it between me and him.” He also claimed that the singer coerced him to refer to him as “daddy” and then proceeded to film their intimate moments.
Louis reportedly brought another male friend who was 16 years old to one of their meetings. Kelly allegedly liked the newcomer and encouraged Louis to continue bringing the friend along. The accuser claimed that he formed a relationship with the 16-year-old and became intimate with him.
R. Kelly Was Assaulted In His Cell

According to the singer’s doctor’s report, Kelly was displaying PTSD symptoms after being a victim of an attack by a fellow inmate in 2020. The law enforcement at the time revealed that he was attacked in the Chicago Metropolitan Correctional Center.
When the attack occurred, the 55-year-old reportedly sat on his bed before being tackled by another inmate. According to sources, the attacker was aggrieved because the facility had gone on lockdown multiple times and blamed the singer. The fight didn’t last long, and the duo was examined for injuries.
In a session with his doctor, Kelly claimed that he still experienced flashbacks of the incident as well as nightmares, hypervigilance, persistent feelings of fear, and an exaggerated statue response. The report read that the singer had the “belief that no one could be trusted and efforts to avoid reminders of the assault.”
He Got Sentenced To 30 Years

A few weeks ago, Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Last year the singer was convicted on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges which came as a result of his constant attempts to use his fame to ensnare and sexually abuse his victims.
The case’s prosecutors reportedly asked for a sentence of over 25 years in prison. In contrast, Kelly’s defense attorneys claimed that the request was equal to a life sentence and asked for 10 years or a lower sentence.
While declaring the judgment, the presiding judge, US District Court Judge Ann Donnelly revealed that she considered his traumatic experience as a child; however, that was no excuse for his appalling actions. His attorneys revealed that the singer was repeatedly sexually abused as a child by a member of his family and his landlord.
