R. Kelly isn’t the only person being blamed for his victimizing of men and women; Twitter is slamming the parents who let it happen.

The docuseries has been cracking open shocking details about R. Kelly and his alleged crimes against men, women, and children. The singer has been receiving backlash for years now but followers of the atrocious story are now throwing blame at the young victim’s parents.

Before being revealed by name many of the victims were referred to as Jane Doe and it was there that some of the horrific stories were revealed. Some of those minors of age now and speaking out including the more well-known ones like Azriel Clary, Aaliyah, and Joycelyn Savage.

These are just a small fraction of the women who met Kelly at a tender teen age and whose parents allegedly wanted Kelly to mentor their daughters in music seeing as he was considered a musical genius.

Followers Are Outraged

The tweets are pretty aggressive but can you blame people? They are wondering how in the world a parent can be around but not really around enough to let horrible stuff like this traumatize their children for the rest of their lives.

“Ain't NO WAY, I'm leaving my daughter alone with a grown ass man in a studio,” insisted one follower who went on to continue tweeting. “idc WHO is there! If I don't know them? Chaperone or back to the drawing board! WTF?! #SurvivingRKelly.”

The Twitter user continued. “These parents SUCK ain't NO way l'm selling or signing my daughter off! Fame ain't looking so good now, huh?#SurvivingRKelly.”

Another follower also believed that the parents hold some of the responsibility in the situation their children ended up in.

“The parents are responsible too. Who sends an underage child on a plane to meet R Kelly n become a singer * they did n should've been charged with child abandonment n endangerment #SurvivingRKelly.”

While the parents are now involved in the discussion many have not lost sight of Kelly himself and the role as the illiterate mastermind behind it all.

“There are honestly so many enablist when it comes to people like R Kelly who take advantage of people's children and I think this season of #SurvivingRKelly is done to hold them accountable because they are just as guilty! if you knew and did nothing about it, you just as wrong.”
