Salma Hayek Playfully Laments Taking Tom Cruise To Dinner As Fans Chants His Name

Salma Hayek had the most hilarious interaction with members of Tom Cruise's fan club and couldn't help but share it with the world.

Over the weekend, the pair were serving ultimate friendship goals while heading out to dinner, but the date was interrupted by a throng of fans who couldn't keep calm about seeing Cruise in the restaurant.

The iconic actor is reportedly spending time in the UK, celebrating the record-breaking success of "Top Gun: Maverick," and he took some time out to hang with his cool friend, Hayek and her billionaire husband, François-Henri Pinault.

Cruise and Hayek were spotted outside a London restaurant on Friday, Joined by Pinault. The pair, who worked together in the 2006 romantic drama, "Ask The Dust," stunned in matching black outfits.

The "Frida" actress looked ravishing in a see-through black top over a brown flowing pleated skirt. She finished off her look with a stylish black leather jacket, featuring gold buttons and silver zips by the side, and a pair of high leather boots.

Her brunette hair was styled into loose wavy curls as she accessorized with a gold necklace with a giant striking gold pendant.

The "Mission Impossible" star, on the other hand, opted for a simple casual look consisting of a fitted black shirt and dark blue jeans. The award-winning actor proved to be the ultimate perfect third-wheeler as the trio dined.

However, the dinner wasn't without a worthy interruption from fans. On Sunday, Hayek gave fans a glimpse of how the outing played out with a playful caption that read, "When you take your friend Tom to dinner. Cuando invitas a tu amigo Tom a cenar. #tomcruise."

Hayek uploaded a series of clips of fans drooling over the phenomenal Hollywood star. In one frame, Cruise can be seen posing for several fans' cameras who wanted to take a picture with him outside the restaurant.

It wasn't any different inside the restaurant as excited fans' chanted Cruise's praises. "Tom, you're amazing."Even the restaurant's staff were in awe of the legendary New York native.

The comments section was filled with mixed reactions from fans; some found the clip funny while others wished the fans could have allowed Hayek and Cruise to enjoy their dinner.

Last month, Hayek made headlines after gushing about an enviable collaboration with Hollywood powerhouse Angelina Jolie. Jolie and Hayk starred in Marvel's 2021, "Eternals."

However, their partnership is going stronger as the pair will lead Jolie's upcoming movie, "Without Blood." Hayek came on board as one of the lead stars in Jolie’s fifth directorial venture.

"Without Blood" is Jolie's debut movie from her three-year deal with Fremantle and Hayek described the opportunity to work with the "Salt" star as "a dream come true."
