Birthday Wishes Pour In As Tom Cruise Turns 60!

Actor Tom Cruise is celebrating his milestone 60th birthday on Sunday!

Thomas Cruise Mapother IV, better known as Hollywood A-lister Tom Cruise, was born on July 3, 1962, in Syracuse, New York.

Cruise also works as a producer, but he’s better known as one of the world’s highest-paid actors for his roles in 1986’s “Top Gun” and its incredible 2022 sequel, “Top Gun: Maverick,” which just grossed one billion dollars at the box office in only 31 days and became the top-grossing film of his career.

Cruise also kicked off the “Mission Impossible” franchise in 1996 and has starred in many other films, including “Jack Reacher,” “War of the Worlds,” and “The Mummy” reboot.

The father of three (Suri, Connor, and Isabella Jane) has been married three times: to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, to Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001,  and to Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012. Although his personal life has made headlines, lately, all anyone can focus on is the success of “Top Gun: Maverick” and the upcoming “Mission: Impossible 8” film. “Dead Reckoning” part one is expected to hit theaters on July 14, 2023, with part 4 following in 2024.

Cruise is getting a lot of love from fans for his role in "Top Gun." Many fans took to social media to upload screenshots from his role in the 1986 original film or its 2022 sequel.

Another fan made a clever play of the "need for speed" line by replacing it with, "We feel the need, the need for celebrating with you!"

Another fan uploaded side-by-side photographs of Tom Cruise at Cannes in 1992, and then againin 2022, along with a quote that read, "If I can just do this for the rest of my life, I’ll never take it for granted. All I can do is the best I can do every day."
