'Abbott Elementary' Star Quinta Brunson Had INTENSE Reaction To Emmy Nominations

Quinta Brunson is joining the League of legends as the list of 2022 Emmy Award nominations was released this morning.
Ahead of the prestigious award ceremony which will air on Monday, September 12, at 8 PM ET, the list of nominees was released and Brunson made headlines for her impressive nod.
Brunson is famous for her excellent work with the ABC series "Abbott Elementary," the new mockumentary show on the block that tells the story of a group of dedicated teachers who try to navigate the Philadephia public school as it deals with underfunding and lack of structure.
The hilarious show shockingly took over the television show space to become a fan favorite and it seems all the hard work has paid off.

In total, "Abbott Elementary" snagged seven nominations in total, with Brunson single-handedly taking three of those nods.
She is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actress in a Comedy, and Writing for a Comedy Series, making her the first Black woman in history to earn three same-year nominations in the notable Comedy categories.
Also, Brunson is the youngest Black woman ever nominated in the comedy acting category. The Pennsylvania native has undoubtedly made comedy history and couldn't believe she achieved such a tremendous feat.
In a tweet, Brunson reacted to her impressive Emmy nod, writing, "Crying shaking and throwing up has new meaning to me because I real life did all three. Still speechless. Congrats to the entire staff and cast of Abbott Elementary. And I want to share this moment with all of the people who watch and love the show. Emmy nominated, baby!"
She concluded her post, "and thank you, everyone, for your kind messages. thank you so much ❤️."
