In an interview with Page Six, rapper Big Freedia revealed how Kesha was able to talk her into going into a haunted insane asylum for her new Discovery Plus show.

Apparently, it didn’t take much. Freedia told the outlet, “I love Kesha, so anything she pretty much she asks me to do, I’m down to do.” She added that she also “wanted to be able to have that experience” with the pop star and close friend.

“It was very interesting being in that house and going to the asylum and having that whole experience,” Freedia recalled. “It was very spooky, I must say. You have to definitely tune in to the episode. You’re going to definitely get your kicks out of it.”

Although Kesha has a podcast called “Kesha and the Creepies,” Freedia insists that Kesha is “very laidback,” adding that most people don’t know “just how sweet she is.”

“She loves to have fun. She loves to party,” she added. “It’s just one thing after another [with Kesha].”

When they first met, Freedia said “right away, we connecting,” and said that the two “had such a great time” on her “High Road Tour” back in 2020 that they got matching tattoos of a fishbone on top of their right hands.

“And before we left the tour, she was like, ‘I got a song I want you to do.’ And I’m like, ‘I got a song I want you to do!’” she recalled. “And then we recorded music together, and we’ve been friends ever since.” The song is appropriately called “Raising Hell,” which Kesha does plenty of on her new Discovery Plus series.

In addition to the pop star, JoJo Fletcher, Whitney Cummings, Betty Who, GaTa, and Karen Elson will also be joining Kesha as she explores haunted locations throughout the United States.

Is 'Ghost Adventures' Star Zak Bagans Going To Appear On Her New Show?

Plenty of fans have their fingers crossed that "Ghost Adventures" star Zak Bagans is going to make a cameo appearance on Kesha's new show. That has yet to be confirmed and some fans think it's doubtful since he has his hands full with his haunted museum in Las Vegas, but anything's possible... especially if Kesha decides to visit Sin City!
