Kate Hudson's son, Ryder Robinson, has joined the tat-wearing family. The 18-year-old made his mother beam with pride as he got his first tattoo by Claudio Traina.

Hudson has always made her love for body ink evident as she has rocked temporary tattoos in the past and has a more permanent one – a tiny star – on her left foot.

When she is not on set filming a project, Hudson is often seen enjoying fun activities with her three children – Ryder, Bingham Hawn, and Rani Rose.

So, it was not a shock when fans saw her on a tattoo artist's Instagram Story as her first son and child, Ryder, got his first body ink.

The clip showed the proud 43-year-old grinning wildly as she recorded Ryder getting the letters "CBR" drawn on his upper bicep.

The footage came with the words, "End of the day drinks and chill with @katehudson and co," penned across it.

The tattoo artist, Claudio Traina, took things further when he shared two images of him posing with the actress and her son on his Instagram Story.

In the first pic, Traina and Ryder are rocking similar black outfits as they flex their biceps for the camera. The "Fool's Gold" actress joined the pair for the second photo, thus giving fans a closer look at her outfit.

Hudson opted for a blue-colored crop top, white pants, and a matching white jacket. She complimented her fit with three necklaces and tiny earrings.

Although she and Ryder's father, Chris Robinson, divorced in 2007, the pair have maintained a healthy co-parenting relationship.

PEOPLE disclosed that Hudson and Chris showed their united front when they attended Ryder's high school graduation earlier this month.

The excited mother uploaded a couple of images to her Instagram to celebrate the milestone, with the first pic featuring her posing with the graduate and his siblings.

For this snap, Hudson opted for a patterned two-piece while Ryder rocked a graduation cap, gown, and a white shirt.

Three-year-old Rani is pretty as a picture in a pink ball gown, and her big brother Bingham is casual in a face cap, green t-shirt, and patterned shorts.

In the second snapshot, the "Almost Gone" star and her ex-husband flank their son on either side while he shows off his diploma. The actress shed more light on the occasion by penning:

"Today was a big day for our family. A day you talk about about when your kids are little and say things like 'hey, one day it will be 2022 and you'll graduate from high school!' As if that day is so far it is barely reachable. And then here we are!"

She continued by praising her son for being the "most incredible young man" whose upbringing has been "one of the great gifts and pleasures" of her life.

Hudson added that Ryder was "kind, loving, generous, patient, hilarious and one of a kind."

The "You, Me and Dupree" star ended the caption by reminding the graduate of her love and encouraging other parents to let their "kiddos fly."

Celebrities like Octavia Spencer and Katie Couric could not stop themselves from congratulating the champ in the comment section.

The "Bride Wars" Star's Son Is Now An Adult

Thanks to her youthful look, fans find it hard to believe that Hudson is the mother of an adult.

In fact, if the report that the Golden Globe Award winner used a sweet post to celebrate the milestone had not come out, many would still be in doubt.

The post, which she shared on Instagram, began with a throwback clip of her and Chris attending a formal event with her baby bump in full view and the Dire Straits' song, "Walk of Life," playing in the background.

The clip then took her 15 million followers on a journey from infancy to his late teen years with his mom and siblings. Fans also got to see his grandparents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell spending time with the teenager.

Hudson used the post's caption to inform her son that his life was now his responsibility and out of her hands. She ended it by wishing him luck and attaching praying hands, tongue out, winky face, cake, and lovestruck emojis.
