"The Wendy Williams Show" might have come to an end, but it is far from the end of an era for Wendy Williams.
The show host gave her first interview since her eponymous talk show came to an end, and revealed her plans for making her comeback.
However, her appearance during the interview has caused fans to question and worry about her wellbeing.
Wendy Williams Opens Up About Lymphedema Condition, Shows Swollen Foot
On Tuesday, Williams made an appearance on "TMZ Live" and discussed how her battle with lymphedema has affected her feet.
While chatting with the hosts about the condition, the former radio DJ in a shocking move, raised her swollen foot to the camera.
The talks show host's foot looked markedly darker than other parts of her body and was evidently swollen. Her toes seemed crumped up with the flesh on her foot looking squeezed. It seemed as though it would be difficult for her to walk properly.
While struggling to hold the disfigured foot up for the camera, Williams remarked, "Do you see this? [My foot] is up and down. I can only feel maybe five percent of my feet, do you understand?"
The famous broadcaster explained that due to her foot's structure, she was meant to be in a wheelchair permanently. However, due to her strong and persistent nature, she managed to overcome that.
"I'm not in a wheelchair. I stand up," she declared. Williams' statement proves to be true as she has been seen on her feet a couple of times since her condition first made the news.
In May, she made a surprise appearance at the Met Gala after-party with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked as her date.
When asked by one of the hosts how she was "feeling physically" amidst her condition, Williams sharply answered, "better than you."
Williams Is Making Her Comeback As A Podcast Queen
As you may know, Williams took a long hiatus from the showbiz world after her battle with lymphedema became more severe. She took a break from hosting "The Wendy Williams Show" and eventually never made a return until the talk show was canceled.
Earlier this year, when talks of "The Wendy Williams Show" being replaced by Sherri Shepherd's talk show made waves, the "Think Like A Man" star vowed that her eponymous would live on and she would make a "big comeback" to the world of television.
However, Williams couldn't fulfill her desires with her talk show ending on June 17. Nevertheless, the New Jersey native isn't accepting defeat and is still working on a comeback, just in another way.
In the interview with TMZ, Williams revealed that she would be venturing into the world of podcasts and was saying goodbye to television life.
Explaining her decision, she said, "I've got enough money to do something else. When you're famous, podcasts will make more money for me, being famous, than doing the Wendy Williams Show."
Williams affirmed that she is "100 percent retired" from the bustle of live TV. However, she won't mind making 1 to 2 hour features on other talk shows such as "The View."
Williams' podcast is still very much in the works, but per the publication, she would be partnering with her manager Will Selby to bring the project to life.
Also, she is already in talks with big names in the industry and has an impressive guest lineup that might include Fat Joe, Snoop Dogg, and members of the Trump and Kardashian-Jenner clan.
The exact people on the guest lineup remain a secret but Williams promises it would be the full Wendy experience.

Fans Are Worried about Wendy's Wellbeing
Although Williams was able to share her plans for the future in the interview, fans couldn't help but noticed that she struggled with making coherent points and looked troubled.
Many have taken to social media to air their concerns, wondering if Williams was forced to be in the interview.
So #TMZ just gave Wendy Williams 10 minutes of airtime to show that she is NOT OK. 😪

One fan asked, "Soooo, are we pretending Wendy Williams' appearance on @TMZ wasn’t weird as hell? They shouldn’t have let her on today in that condition. She’s clearly on something."
Another comment read, "This is soooooo sad! Wendy Williams on TMZ might be the toughest to watch right now. She's truly not well. 🙏🏾"
This netizen wrote, "Wendy Williams on @TMZ Live today, I don’t know what to say. Who in her circle allowed this to happen? No one would want to be seen like this. I pray her handlers would do better by her, this was heartbreaking to watch. I’m not a fan, but I’m a person & this breaks my heart."
I’m not trying to sound rude.. but I’m watching an interview with Wendy Williams and am genuinely concerned.. did she have a stroke? Her speech is all over the place.

However, this fan slammed the publication for doing Williams dirty, writing, "Shame on @HarveyLevinTMZ and #TMZLive for letting Wendy Williams come on air in this erratic condition. They knew what they were doing, it's all about the ratings for them. So sad..."
