Taylor Swift & Selena Gomez Bring Their Friendship To TikTok!

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez's friendship could be complex, or it could be cool, but the terrific twosome have always chosen another type of friendship: They will always be close!

These popular culture sweethearts have respectively gone through countless 'eras' and reinventions throughout their careers, but their long-lasting friendship has always been there throughout many twists and turns which, unfortunately, can impact an entertainer's life in the spotlight.

Most recently these ladies have put their friendship on display via one of the most popular social media networks and a hot spot for celebrities to get their scroll on: TikTok! Both Swift, 32, and Gomez, 29, have accounts, create content, and interact with fans on the app.

Not only have the dynamic duo used TikTok to promote their respective creative endeavors, they have also put their friendship on full display!

Earlier this week Gomez posted a TikTok promoting the second season of her Hulu show "Only Murders In The Building" which premieres on June 28th. Eagle-eyed followers of Gomez's TikTok may have noticed a certain someone make an appearance in the video's comment section!

The celeb commentator was none other than Swift, herself!

According to Us Weekly, the "All Too Well" singer popped into the comments to give props to Gomez's cosmetic line, saying the foundation she was using was "giving CEO it's giving gorgeousness it's giving friends forever."

Swift's mention of a CEO was rather appropriate and on point for the video. Gomez used Swift's song "The Man" in the background. "The Man" appears on Swift's 2019 LP "Lover."

Swift and Gomez have been giving out strong 'BFF' vibes much longer than many celebrity friendships! The longevity of their friendship only scratches the surface of how tight these ladies are with one another!

Their friendship has not only been durable enough to sustain different career eras for both Gomez and Swift, but it has also sustained the many male celebs who have won (and broken) their hearts over the years.

Turning toward one another for guidance in navigating the bonanza of boys has been an ongoing element of their closeness. All the way back in 2009, Gomez revealed she had been turning to her friend for help any time she needed it!

"Every single problem I ever have is healable by Taylor Swift," she told Seventeen magazine as per Elle, "If I ever have an issue, Taylor has gone through it, because she's older than me, and she gives the most thought out answers," she shared.

Gomez also revealed the pair "literally talk every day."

A few years later, Swift spoke on the beauty of their friendship and touched on how their friendship has served as a pillar to lean on as they both navigate through the rollercoaster fame can be.

"When your life changes," Swift said to E! in 2014, "and you become thrust into this really strange whirlwind where what your life is different from what other people think your life is. And your life is commented on and your life is written about and fictionalized and all of that. Both of us have kind of stuck it out and hung in there through all of the different changes we've gone through." (via Elle).

To borrow the title from Gomez's 2019 LP "Rare," a friendship like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez's is indeed, quite 'rare!' These ladies have both taught their fans many list-worthy lessons over the years, and their countless examples of how to maintain a healthy friendship would definitely be toward the top!
