Kim Kardashian is calling her bluff and admitting she had never seen “Saturday Night Live” before she hosted in October 2021.
Let us repeat, Kim said she had never watched ‘SNL’ before hosting!
Of course, Kim, who had zero knowledge about the show, its history or the iconic talent that was born from it, would get to host it.
Let's not forget, she’s “famous for being famous.”
Kim Had Never Watched 'SNL' Before Hosting In 2021
Would Lorne Michaels allow any other celebrity with no knowledge of ‘SNL’ to host the show… most likely not.
Alright, so Kim recently appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and while everyone is talking about how she and Pete Davidson bond over their pimples, The Blast would like to focus on the atrocity that is Kim’s ‘SNL’ admission.
Earlier this week, the SKKN creator sat down with Jimmy Fallon and unintentionally threw shade at the comedian.
The last time the former ‘KUWTK’ star visited Fallon was before her big hosting debut on the late-night sketch comedy show in October.
When asked whether or not she was nervous to host, Kim said, “You know I was nervous for a second, because I have to be honest. I had never seen ‘SNL’ before. I had gone to one taping of Eddie Murphy, but I had never…”
Kim Also Didn't Know Jimmy Fallon Or Will Ferrell Were On 'SNL'
A very dumbfounded Fallon, for all the right reasons, could barely utter a response to Kim except for, “You’ve never seen ‘Saturday Night Live?’ Like serious?”
“I’m dead serious,” she admitted.
Kim tried to defend herself by saying she “knew what it was” and how “iconic” of a show it is, but she just kept digging herself further and further into a hole.
“I gotta be honest. I had no idea you were on,” she told Fallon, who threw his hands and head down on the desk. “Even like a month after, I was at this dinner and Will Ferrell was sitting right next to me and the show had just aired when I was on. He mentioned he’d seen it and I literally had to text Pete and be like, ‘Wait. Was Will Ferrell on ‘SNL?’’”
I mean not knowing Fallon was on “Saturday Night Live” is one thing, but having ZERO clue THE Will Ferrell is one of the biggest stars to come out of ‘SNL’ is completely and utterly BLASPHEMOUS!

“I’ve been schooled. I know everyone that’s been on now. I know everything. I’ve been schooled,” she doubled down.
Right after this happened, Kim’s kids created a bit of a ruckus in the audience.
Jimmy said he could hear kids and the SKIMS creator immediately yelled at her kids, “Guys, can you stop? This is like your first time at work with me. Can you please?”

The billionaire business mogul opened up about her and Pete’s deep bond on skincare.
“We got to dermatologists together. We inject our pimples together at the same time,” she revealed.
