He said while beaming, “The day before [my birthday], I got a hall pass to go golf, which was pretty fun.” He added that his birthday was “lowkey,” and he spent it with his daughters and wife.
The “Parks and Recreation” star prepared some steaks at home and had a fun time with his family, comprising Katherine, one-year-old Lyla, and one-month-old Eloise.
As for his 9-year-old son Jack, he said the youngster “does a great job as a big brother” despite the “big age” gap between the half-siblings.
Chris shared, “There’s a big age separation…[and] he does a great job; he’s so sweet with them. And they love him so much, and they miss him when he’s gone.”
He further talked about his new series, “The Terminal List,” which marks his debut as an executive producer, though he also stars in the Amazon Prime Video original series.
The 43-year-old explained, “Twenty years I’ve been in this business, and I’ve always been acting, so I show up to do a little rehearsal, to do the fittings, step on the mark and go to work.”

He continued, “I kinda failed to recognize how much goes into just getting to that point! And so it was definitely eye-opening and a great learning experience.”
Chris believed if one were “smart” and had been in the movie business for a long while, such a person would want to find ways to continue learning and growing, which he certainly did in the new series.
Fans of the movie star would indeed look forward to seeing the graphic, action-packed series set to premiere on July 1 on Amazon Prime Video.
The Blast previously shared that the “Everwood” actor had another celebration not long ago, marking and announcing the birth of his second adorable daughter.
He also hinted prior to his child’s birth that he was open to having as many children as God would provide, though he knew he had to talk to his wife about the plan.
Chris was still a father-of-two at the time, and he called the experience “really beautiful,” also confessing that he did not “roughhouse as much” but preferred cuddling the little ones.
He believed having a second child emphasized the unique parts of his firstborn because parents tend to take their only baby’s growth and development for granted, assuming all kids were that way.
