Call this a Father’s Day MIRACLE!
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, real name Angela White, will NOT be going to court for a second time.
The former couple was set to face-off in court over her revenge porn lawsuit filed back in 2017, but it seems the two are finally seeing eye-to-eye.
This is very rare and like I said before, a miracle.
Court Is A No-Go For BC & Rob!
According to TMZ, juror selection for the trial was set to begin on Monday, June 20, but the potential jurors were sent packing.
The ex-fiancés reached a settlement out of court. The terms of the settlement have not yet been revealed, so it’s unclear if it was a financial settlement or something else.
Rob’s legal team fought hard to keep the lawsuit from going to trial.
Also, given Blac Chyna just lost a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against the Kardashian-Jenner family, her money pond is surely drying up.
Last week, The Blast reported on BC’s revenge porn lawsuit going to trial.
Jury Selection Was Canceled, Jurors Asked To Go Home
Just a few days ago, BC and her legal team were planning to move ahead with their revenge porn case that was originally filed in October 2017.
The lawsuit came to be following the couples horrendous and chaotic breakup in 2016.
Rob published multiple pornographic images of Blac Chyna on social media following their split and shared confidential information about his ex.
In legal documents obtained by Us Weekly, Chyna accused Rob of using his social media to leak explicit images of her.
"As a result, it was not just Rob's over nine million Instagram followers that witnessed his social media attack on Ms. White but rather the entire world witnessed it as well," the documents stated.
In the OG docs. BC claimed she suffered “significant damages” after her private photos were shared. She claimed they were “designed to harm” her reputation.
"At no time did Rob Kardashian have Ms. White's permission to publish these photos or information online, nor did Rob Kardashian ever attempt to seek Ms. White's consent to share these photos or her personal medical information before he posted them for his millions of Instagram and Twitter followers and the rest of the world to see," the legal docs read.
The lawsuit appeared to go to the wayside in recent years, especially after Rob agreed to assist BC in a different lawsuit involving her ex, Justin C. Jones, aka Pilot Jones.
Despite The Judge Denying Rob's Settlement, A Settlement Was Reached
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Rob’s legal team alleged that Chyna agreed to dismiss the revenge porn lawsuit if Rob helped BC get dropped from her lawsuit with Pilot Jones.
The revenge porn trial was set for June 13, but given their alleged agreement, it did not happen.
TMZ reported on June 17 that a judge denied Rob’s attempt at a settlement he claims to have struck with BC. The settlement would have made the case go away before trial.
Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani, told the outlet, “Under California law, settlement discussions are confidential. Rob Kardashian has violated California law by revealing alleged details of ongoing settlement discussions. Chyna is permitted under California law to disclose that settlement discussions regarding her revenge porn case against her ex-fiancé are ongoing. When and if a confidential settlement is reached on this case, Chyna will alert the court first and then the media."
How fast things can change over the course of a few days.
