Chris Evans Fuels Lizzo Collaboration Possibility: 'Too Soon, But Maybe!'

It’s about damn time… we get a Lizzo x Chris Evans collaboration
The “Lightyear” actor recently sat down with Access Hollywood to discuss his new animated movie, but fans got a little bit more than expected.
While being interviewed by Zuri Hall, the “Captain America” actor was asked about doing something creative with the singer.
Is There A Lizzo/Chris Evans Collaboration In The Works???
“May we ever see a collaboration? Maybe she hits the soundtrack for a future film,” Hall asked Evans.
“Yeah, I hope so actually. I’ve heard that, I’ve heard some rumblings of that,” he responded coyly. “I don’t know if that is going to happen, but I hope so.”
When pressed for further details he responded, “Too soon, too soon, but maybe.”
Fans of Lizzo know she’s been shooting her shot with Evans for years.
Last year, Lizzo joked that she was pregnant with his baby and laid out her sexy date night plans with the actor.
The singer started a rumor that she had been “sucking in” and that she was in fact PREGNANT with the father being her long-time crush.
Lizzo revealed the “news” in a TikTok video posted last year.

With the “Captain America” theme song playing in the background, Lizzo started off saying, “This is something I’ve been trying to keep really personal and private just between me and the father of my child, but since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in.”
The singer then pushes out her stomach and rubs it.
“We’re gunna have a little America,” she ended the video. She captioned the video, “THE SECRET IS OUT??.”
Obviously, her fans knew this “pregnancy news” was a massive joke since Lizzo has been thirsting after Evans for months, and the two have created a special, humorous bond with one another.
Evans clearly got wind of the exciting baby news and responded to Lizzo in the most appropriate way.
On August 1, 2021, Lizzo posted yet another video to her TikTok confirming the “rumors” are true.
In the video, Lizzo says “All the rumors are true” with text over her that read, “Guess what besties? We secured the child support bag!!!!!”
The video then cuts to her direct message thread with Evans and his response is classic.

“Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy ? my mother will be so happy lol,” Evans wrote.
He then followed up that message with, “(Just promise me no gender reveal parties lol).”
Lizzo and Evans’ love story began in April after the “Good As Hell” singer drunkenly slid into Cpt. America’s DMs.
In true Lizzo fashion, she took to TikTok to expose herself for her hysterical, inebriated ways.
She captioned the video, “Don't drink and DM, kids.... for legal porpoises this is a joke."

In the video, Lizzo uses the TikTok green screen feature with a screenshot of a DM conversation behind her.
As she lip syncs to original audio by Tatayanna Mitchell she reveals this message, “The reason I’m upset about this one is, I know I’m not going to be able to marry him and honestly it hurts me to the core because damn papa he a rare breed no comparing, Like Chris…!”
The ‘captain’ responded to her flirty message, “No shame in a drunk DM god knows I've done worse on this app lol.”
If you aren’t aware of the “worse” he’s done on Instagram, it involves an egg-plant emoji over his nether regions.
