Lizzo recently commented on Styles’ new album “Harry’s House,” released on May 20th, 2022. This marked a new development in their friendship, and fans were excited to see her hype the album.
She made the comments on an Instagram live video on Thursday, and while they were positive, they were also hilarious. Fans found the gesture sweet, as they expressed in the comments section. Keep reading to find out what she said.

The “About Damn Time” singer made herself laugh while complimenting her friend’s album. She told fans she loved the project on the IG live and paused a little to laugh after saying, “he put the whole harrussy into that album.”
The 34-year-old also said as she flipped her hair, “I love his new album,” praising the 28-year-old ex-One Direction star. As she spoke, fans noted how cute their friendship was in the comments.
However, this wasn’t the first time either of the friends had openly admired and supported the other. While they are yet to release a song together, they’ve had several on-stage moments and have covered each other’s songs in the past.
They Performed Together
Lizzo and Styles are fans of each other’s music and have been for a while now. In 2019, Styles appeared on the Live Lounge series on BBC Radio 1 to promote his “Fine Line” album. It was his second studio album which he released on December 13th, 2019.
The “Watermelon Sugar” singer performed a special cover of Lizzo’s song “Juice” as fans cheered him on excitedly. He performed the song again the next month in January 2020, but this time with Lizzo herself.
At a show in Miami, Lizzo told the crowd, “Hold up, I need to bring somebody out.” She then introduced the “As It Was” singer on stage, “Ladies and gentlemen, Harry Styles!” Fans absolutely loved the performance and their friendship ever since.
She Covered His Song
During her performance at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge the month after, Lizzo returned her friend’s favor by covering “Adore You” from his “Fine Line” album. However, she did a lyric change which surprised fans. While the original lyric was “Oh honey / I’d walk through fire for you,” Lizzo declared her love for Styles by singing, “Oh Harry / I’d walk through fire for you.”
She later had an interview with KISS FM, a UK radio station. During the interview, she was asked about her plans to work with Styles on her upcoming album “Special,” to be released on July 15th. She teased, “The collab happened last night,” and laughed. She added, “Guys… I got too many inappropriate jokes.”
When asked again about a “collab,” she joked again and said, “We collabed. His [bleep] in my [bleep]hole.” Following the interview, the duo appeared at the 2020 BRIT Awards and shared funny and flirty on-camera moments. The two leaned on each other and held hands as Lizzo casually kissed Styles’ hand.

Some sort of collab eventually happened as the duo performed together at the Coachella festival in April 2022. Styles surprised fans by bringing Lizzo on stage during his performance. They performed “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor, and the One Direction hit song, “What Makes You Beautiful.”
The pair complemented each other by wearing matching pink outfits and feathered coats. In an appearance on the Audacy podcast, Lizzo spoke about the moments leading up to the collab. She recalled being surprised that Harry wanted to perform with her.
“The crazy thing is, it really was genuinely a surprise for me too because I think I found out Wednesday night, and then I was rehearsing. ‘Cause I was genuinely going to Coachella to see Harry.” She also recalled their previous moments covering each other’s songs. “He did a cover of ‘Juice’ and then I did a cover of ‘Adore You,’ and then we did ‘Juice’ together.”
