‘Love Is Blind’ Star Deepti Vempati Wants Fans To Leave Her Nose Alone!

Reality star Deepti Vempati just wants fans of the show to stop commenting on her looks.

The Chicago-native appeared on season 2 of the Netflix dating show “Love Is Blind,” where contestants don’t get to see what their fiancé looks like until he’s already popped the question. Although the show has gotten some pushback for featuring exclusively heterosexual couples, many fans are addicted to the drama and the inevitable love triangles that have occurred on the show.

That being said, the drama has extended onto social media, where Deepti asked people to stop making fun of her nose.

In a TikTok video with season 2 castmate and rumored boyfriend Kyle Abrams, Deepti asked people to stop commenting on the size of her nose.

“You guys, this is my real nose,” Deepti said, according to Us Weekly. “Stop making fun of it.” She told fans that “This is how I was born. I’m not changing it.”

She also told anyone who didn’t like the size of her nose to “get over it” because she’s not changing what she looks like to please anyone. As she bluntly put it, “It’s my f---ing face.”

Abrams showed his support by saying that if anyone needed a nose job, it was him, because his nose got messed up due to a car accident. That being said, he said that he was Deepti’s “biggest fan.”

It’s unclear if Deepti and Kyle are dating, although they certainly seem to be spending a lot of time together. On the show, Kyle had proposed to Shaina Hurley, who dumped him during their honeymoon in Mexico after she couldn’t get over their religious differences. Meanwhile, Deepti had been engaged to Abhishek “Shake Chatterjee. Deepti left him standing alone at the altar in the season finale after Shake told multiple people that he was not physically attracted to her.

He reportedly made several other unwelcome comments about her appearance to other cast members on the show behind her back. Those cast members then told Deepti about the way he was talking about her, which cemented her decision to call off the relationship. Shake has since moved on with a new girlfriend.

During the season 2 reunion, Kyle made a bombshell confession when he told Deepti that he should have proposed to her instead of Shaina and called it his “biggest regret” on the show.

“I should have tried harder for her,” he said during the Netflix special. “I love her so much; she’s the best. And I wish I saw what was right in front of me, and that’s my biggest regret. I’m sorry.”

Shortly after, Deepti Vempati told the New York Magazine that she and Kyle had actually formed a deep relationship in the pods that was never shown on screen. “He was my No. 2 person, so [his confession] wasn’t out of the blue,” she explained. “We do have this foundational bond. It was heartwarming and so sweet to hear.”

However, back in March, she seemed to kill any hope fans have of seeing them together, saying, “The speculation is hilarious. We’re playing with [fans] a little bit, but it’s funny. Kyle and I have such a beautiful friendship.”

There’s rumored to be another cast reunion in the works, so if they are dating, it’s possible that Deepti Vempati and Kyle Abrams want to keep their relationship a secret until then!
