After the box office success of the latest Scream film, it appears many stars wanted to return to the town of Woodsboro for more satirical horror goodness, and the fictional town in California must be near Beverly Hills, as it looks like a 90210 alum is looking to get herself in the upcoming sixth installment in the franchise.

While promoting her new podcast, 9021OMG on iHeartRadio, Tori Spelling told The Blast EXCLUSIVELY if she wanted to be in the upcoming "Scream 6."

Spelling has an interesting and fun history with the Scream franchise. In the original film, Neve Campbell's Sidney Prescott is asked who she would want to play her in a movie about her life. Without hesitation she responds, "With my luck, they'd cast Tori Spelling." The reference is then brought back brilliantly in Scream 2 as Spelling is brought into the franchise to play the Sidney Prescott character in the films slasher series, Stab. A film that references the murders and the story from Scream. A movie within a movie type situation.

As the Scream series continues, Spelling's character is referenced and mentioned in the first three films of the Scream film franchise and possibly alluded to again in the fifth film, but now that another film is coming, is there a chance that she will be back this time around?. When The Blast asked Spelling on if she would be returning to the next film at the iHeartRadio Wango Tango concert on June 4th, she smiled and instantly mentioned EXCLUSIVELY, "I hope so." but when we pressed her on if she would actually want to do it, she emphatically stated,"Of course". So now the ball is in the court of filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett who did Scream 5 with the help of a script written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick to get Spelling in the film.

And there is certainly a possibility because the great thing about the Scream franchise is that anything can happen and they continue to make it work, and people come back all the time, especially Hayden Panettiere who is returning after her turn as Kirby Reed in the Scream 4 film.

Speaking of returns, most of the cast from Scream 5 is meant to return with survivors Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, and Jasmin Savoy Brown already confirmed, and though officially it hasn't been announced, The Blast has learned that Courteney Cox and Neve Campbell are meant to return as well.

Update: Neve Campbell has announced that she will now not be returning to the Scream franchise.

The sixth film is also rumored to be leaving the town of Woodsboro and heading to another location, changing things up for a future that will be just as unexpected as the previous films' consistent twists and turns. But like any Scream film, the Ghostface killer is never that far behind to cause as much mayhem as possible.
