Actress Ming-Na Wen was noticeably absent from Star Wars Celebration on Saturday.

Wen played the role of mercenary Fennec Shand in both "The Mandalorian" and "The Book of Boba Fett." Fans were looking forward to seeing her at Star Wars Celebration, which took place in Anaheim, California this year. The four-day event stretches from Thursday to Sunday and gives fans a glimpse forward and a look back at some of their favorite Star Wars projects.

On Saturday, fans were looking forward to multiple panels starring the shows Wen has been a part of. Unfortunately, Wen took to social media just before the festivities started to explain why she was missing out.

Ming-Na Wen Misses Star Wars Celebration Due To COVID-19

On Twitter, the former Disney princess explained that she would be missing Star Wars Celebration due to a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, as many fans had suspected. Wen seemed to be doing well in the video, although she had admitted to her fans that she sounded stuffy not because she was sick, but because she had been crying.

In a thirty-second video Wen posted on Saturday morning, she begins, “Hey guys. Um. I’m really sad that I can’t come to Star Wars Celebration and hang out with you and my Mandalorian and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ family.”

“Um, I have COVID for the first time and if I sound a little stuffed up, it’s not because of COVID,” she explained. “It’s because this grown a—woman had been crying all yesterday.”

“You know, my little nerd heart is broken,” she concluded. “I’ll miss you. I wish I could be there. Love you all.”

Fans Have Their Fingers Crossed For A Speedy Recovery!

"Sorry you couldn't make it, but thanks for posting to social media!" one fan wrote. "We all are so grateful [for] what you have brought to Star Wars! #YesSWC2022 #StarWarsCelebration."

"I'm not sure if I want to fav this... I'm so so sorry for this news, but I hope the best thing for you. Get well soon, mommy," another fan commented. "My heart was just... it hurts me to hear this, it's really does. May the force help you fight it. Love you with all my heart even though it's hurting now."

"Oh sweet Ming! I feel you ?" wrote another fan. "You’ll get better soon and come back with all your bright spirit and happiness! Take your time to get rest and I’ll keep you and your family on my prayers! ❤️ we, your Mingalings, love you ❤️?"

Another fan wrote, "Get well soon Ming!! ?? You have to rest to get better and you'll be rocking SWC next year! ??"

Although fans are disappointed that Ming-Na Wen won't be able to make it this year, another famous face was also noticeably absent. Mark Hamill, who plays Jedi Luke Skywalker, was off filming in London, so he couldn't make it.

At least there's always next year!
