Portia de Rossi, the devoted wife of the famous TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres, is proud of the triumphant conclusion of the award-winning "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
It should be noted that the syndicated talk show debuted in 2003, and its final episode aired on Thursday, May 26, 2022.
Rossi, the television host's wife of over a decade, recently acknowledged the finale of the show's era with a beautiful Instagram post, commending DeGeneres and showing her delight in her sweetheart's accomplishments.
Portia De Rossi Says Her Spouse Ellen DeGeneres' Show Will 'Forever Be Remembered'
The Australian-American actress uploaded a carousel of eight throwback photos of her beloved wife, including a few black-and-white snaps to honor the final day of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."
The first slide was one of DeGeneres on the cover of an older TIME issue and the second slide was a monochrome picture of the comedian looking away from the camera.
The following photo showed a black-and-white view of the "Ellen" actress sitting on a high stool and wearing a long-sleeved button-down shirt with high-waist panties.
DeGeneres could be seen wearing a blue suit in the next slide, which also displayed her side profile as she appeared to be in a conversation.
The fifth snap was a throwback post of the 64-year-old writer wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and a cap, while the sixth upload was a group photo featuring herself and the famous Oprah Winfrey.
The notable producer and well-known musician Usher were included in the following update showing them dancing to what the music star was singing into a microphone.
Rossi concluded the slides with a black-and-white head-to-bust picture of DeGeneres rocking an old-fashioned hairstyle and looking dapper in a button-up shirt.
The 49-year-old model wrote beneath the heartwarming post, "To my utterly beautiful, supremely talented, insanely accomplished wife on the day of your final show."
She added, "I married an icon. I married my idol. I'm so proud of you for making this platform one that not only entertains but inspires and uplifts people."
The "Ally McBeal" actress ended the adorable message with an expression of love after stating a fact about the daytime show, saying it would always be remembered for "elevating the world's consciousness."
Naturally, enthusiastic fans gushed at the post, appreciating Rossi for the sentimental update and noting how much DeGeneres will be missed.
Several days prior to the end of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the stand-up comedian spoke to Hollywood Reporter about the program's conclusion, saying she was more emotional in the previous months than she was in the last few weeks.
She knew ahead of time that the season would be her last, and she admitted to being surprised but flattered when some of the show's final guests got all teary-eyed about the program's ending.
Planning the concluding episodes was pretty important for the Louisiana-born, who said she cried every day for some months but did not want the last two weeks of the show to be as emotional.
She wanted to enjoy the program's final days with the audience and wanted the two weeks to be "pure fun" as an escape from the harsh reality of the saddening global events.

DeGeneres will admittedly miss everything about the show, from the audience, "the close proximity" of the daily love and energy, the exciting people she got to meet, and of course – the "soft-serve ice cream truck."
The Former "American Idol" Judge Unknowingly Makes Slipup On One Of Her Final Shows
One of DeGeneres' closing episodes on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" featured a call to prominent movie star Jennifer Lawrence who birthed a child in February and had kept a low profile ever since.
The Blast shared that "The Love Letter" actress seemed to have spilled the beans about Lawrence's baby's gender identity while interviewing the actress via the phone.
DeGeneres began their conversation by congratulating the "Hunger Games" star on her marriage to Cooke Maroney and the new birth of her child.
She referenced the house Lawrence lived in with her family, saying she used to reside there when she started her daytime show 20 years ago but now lived next door.
The "Mr. Wrong" actress added, "By the way, I do hear you sometimes talking to him [Lawrence's baby], and it's really cute. I can hear you go, 'I know and then...' it's so sweet."
Her use of 'him' made it evident that the Lawrence bore a boy, but fortunately, the "Red Sparrow" actress did not seem offended about the slip.
