Jordyn Woods & Karl Anthony Celebrate 2nd Anniversary With Lavish Resort Trip

It's a season of love for Jordyn Woods and her boyfriend of two years, Karl Anthony, as they both just celebrated a milestone in their relationship.

Woods has been romantically linked to Anthony since May 2020, and they have been living the best passion-filled life as a couple.

This month marks the second year they will be together, and the California-born star updated her Instagram with an emotional post of her boyfriend's heartwarming gesture in honor of their anniversary.

"best anniversary weekend," Woods began in the post's caption. "I had no idea we were going anywhere, and Karl surprised me with a weekend trip to the same resort John and Jackie Kennedy had their honeymoon." She added:

"an entire wardrobe, an amazing photoshoot with a top photographer, and an unforgettable experience. I love you, @karltowns !! You make me feel like a queen and always remind me everyday."

The video showed Woods and Anthony together at different locations within the resort, having an enviable celebration as Lauryn Hill's "I Gotta Find Peace of Mind" played in the background.

The clip was a mashup of the couple's activities, including a view of their tour around the site, a magnificent dinner on the beach, and a mirror selfie in front of a fireplace.

The post showed how much love the partners had for each other, which fans did not fail to notice as they showered the update with tons of love emojis.

Among the commenters were Lori Harvey, Daniela Rajic, and Amber Asaly, who were totally taken with the adorableness of Woods and Anthony's love.

Several fans wished the duo a happy anniversary while calling them amazing, expressing their happiness, and sending thoughtful prayers. 

On the other hand, more supporters commended the NBA star's efforts in honoring Woods, stating that they both deserved each other and every bit of their blessings.

Prior to the lovely post, the 24-year-old shared another update showing a photoshoot of herself and her beau, sporting matching outfits comprising white shirts and blue jeans. The caption read:

"2 years [padlock emoji] [red heart emoji]—Expect a photo spam of this weekend coming soon."

The post included a slide of five photos of the couple in each other's arms and looking as happy as ever.  

Anthony took no time commenting under the post, dubbing himself and Woods 2022 "Bonnie & Clyde." Other fans gushed about the photos by congratulating the lovers and calling them the best.  

Last month, The Blast reported Woods' tribute to Anthony's late mother, Jacqueline Cruz, after his team, Minnesota Timberwolves, triumphed in a previous match against L.A Clippers.

The day of the game, April 12, was pretty challenging for the 26-year-old despite the win, as the following day marked the second anniversary of his mom's demise.

His understanding girlfriend, aware of the momentous day, paid homage to Cruz on April 13 with a moving message, noting the challenges the star athlete faced with his mom not being present to witness his accomplishments.

She also stated how proud she was of the basketballer and mentioned that his participation in sports had a more heart-rending meaning attached to it.

Her caring message undoubtedly showed how important Anthony was to her and the Minnesota Timberwolves player reciprocated the feeling as he previously opened up about how Woods made him more perceptive. 

While appearing on Taraji P. Henson's "Peace of Mind with Taraji," he noted that his girlfriend could relate better to the loss of his mother as she also lost her father to cancer in 2017.

He further confessed that Woods made him vulnerable and enabled him to understand that the male ego "is the most sensitive and most dangerous thing the world has to offer."

Last September, Anthony showed that he was the ever-supportive boyfriend as he defended his partner after being slammed by haters for her weight loss journey.

The Blast reported that the reality star shared how she was able to shed some weight with her app called FIRSTPLACE; however, critics believed she used plastic surgery to achieve her new appearance.

On the other hand, Anthony was not having it as he came to her rescue, stating that her look was wholly natural and thanks to her efforts. He then urged the haters to try the app out.
