Azealia Banks is speaking out in Cara Delevingne's defense following the backlash the model has received after she was seen behaving erratically at the recently-concluded Billboard Music Award.
At the award ceremony, Delevingne was seen intensely fangirling Megan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat in a way fans believed was fetishizing black women. However, Banks believes that was in no way what the English model.
Megan Thee Stallion Subtly Shades Cara Delevingne
To fill you in on the backstory, it all started at the BBMAs when Megan Thee Stallion, who stunned in a brown and nude revealing two-piece, walked the red carpet.
When the "WAP" rapper was trying to have her moment, Delevingne was seen in the background, sort of stealing her spotlight.
The model grabbed Megan's train and was flipping it in the air repeatedly while the rapper looked on with a somewhat annoyed face. It seemed Megan wasn't pleased with Delevingne's interruption but not much was red into the situation.
However, things became more intense when during the party while Megan and Doja were having a discussion, Delevingne butted in and seemed super thrilled to be seated next to the ladies.
It seems Megan had enough of Delevingne's actions as it showed in a subtle shade. The rapper uploaded a photo of her and Doja at the award show and to fans' surprise, Delevingne was completely PHOTOSHOPPED out!
It's not sure why Megna chose to crop Delevingne out but it seemed she wanted her out of the picture so bad!
Fans believed the post was sending a strong message to the "Paper Towns" actress, who many believed had a fetish for black women.
Azealia Banks Comes To The 'Carnival Row' Star's Rescue
Following the backlash at Delevingne, Banks came to her rescue on Twitter but not without dragging Megan through the mud.
In a lengthy rant, the "Luxury" rapper slammed Megan for using Delevingne to chase clout, writing, "And the fact that horse face wide back meg the f**king stallion who has no grace, couth, is in desperate need of a serious ethnic rhinoplasty has the nerve to try and shade Cara."
She warned Megan saying the 29-year-old model isn't her " fashion b**ch." When asked by a fan why she was supporting Delevingne, a white woman, over a black woman, Banks responded, writing:
Cara Delevingne is literally the least racist white woman I know. She was clearly fangirling over doja who looked great in Schiaparelli btw, and trying to help Meg work that small train from in between her a** crack. Totally weird smear campaign happening with Cara rn.
The 30-year-old rapper then warned fans that no celebrity is obligated to disclose mental health issues and whatnot.
"Chill out on Cara. She’s seen some s**t, I’ve seen her see some s**t, she’s been in the industry since a teenager…. Lots and lots of crazy/damaging and unforgettable things happen to young girls in entertainment," Banks advised.
Some fans praised Banks for speaking the truth and standing by her friend's side while others believe the rapper was just jealous of Megan.
Stallion is yet to publicly respond to Banks' claims and neither has Delevingne.
Delevingne Filed A Restraining Order Against Stalker
As The Blast previously reported, in January the London native made headlines after scoring a major legal victory against a dangerous stalker.

As we covered, Delevingne filed for a restraining order against a ‘celebrity stalker’ who she claimed threatened her through a hand-written letter of a possible “murder-suicide."
In the obtained court documents, the runway model claimed, " never had any personal communications with him, nor do I desire any interaction or communication with him. Despite his not personally knowing me, [he] has sought to have personal contact with me and insert himself into my personal and private life. He has engaged in stalking and harassment directed at me, which is seriously alarming, annoying, and harassing me."
She alleged that the anonymous stalker traveled from Switzerland to England to deliver a threatening letter to her mailbox. Delevingne was granted the order from a Los Angeles judge.
