Marlon Wayans is opening up about the movie that nearly “killed” him.

The comedian and actor has been in a plethora of HILARIOUS movies.

To name *just* a few: “Scary Movie,” “Don’t Be A Menace,” “The Heat,” and the infamous “White Chicks.”

Marlon Reveals Which Movie Nearly Killed Him!

It’s hard to say which one is the greatest, but in my opinion, it’s got to be “White Chicks.”

The movie has become a cult classic, and it put Terry Crews singing Michelle Branch’s “A Thousand Miles” on the MAP!

As amazing and universally quoted as it is, Marlon Wayans feels a certain way about the movie.

In a new interview with GQ, the actor opened up about the grueling work schedule he and his brother, Damon Wayans, went through in order to transform into Brittany and Tiffany Wilson.

In the event you have not seen the 2004 comedy classic, Marlon and Shawn’s characters are two disgraced FBI agents who go undercover as the Wilson sisters, who are hotel heiresses, to protect them from a kidnapping plot.

“That movie almost killed us,” he said bluntly. “Seven hours makeup. We worked 14-hours after that, it takes an hour to take the makeup off. Shawn and I would get two hours of sleep for like 65 days or 60 days.”

"White Chicks" Nearly Killed Marlon & Shawn Wayans

Marlon continued to explain that he most likely won’t be doing anymore movies with that intense of makeup, because it’s just too much.

“Makeup movies… until they learn how to digitally do it special effects wise, uh-uhn. That’s a lot of work,” he explained. “Everyone’s like, ‘Do White Chicks 2.’ I’m like f**k yourself. You do White Chicks 2, I’m doing Black man movies.”

"Whit Chicks 2" Is Out Of The Question!

Despite the grueling makeup process, Marlon did have some positive things to say about the movie.

He thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Crews.

“It was just a lot of fun, and me and Terry just had a lot of chemistry on-screen,” Marlon said. “He’d always tell me, ‘I got a crush on your character.’ He damn near cried when we finished filming.”

What’s even better is that Crews would ask Marlon if he’d get back into his ‘WC’ makeup.

The actor’s blunt response, “No the f**k I’m not, leave me alone.”

Unfortunately, for all the diehard “White Chicks” fans out there, the possibility of a second movie is looking bleak.

In July, Marlon revealed the idea for “White Chicks” was inspired by the one and only Paris Hilton.

Last year, Marlon and Paris were among the celebrities that participated in Tubi and TikTok’s live nostalgia reunion special on June 30, 2021.

The 48-year-old comedian thanked the icon for being the inspiration behind his classic 2004 film, “White Chicks.”

Wayans seemed really appreciative of his muse and thankful that she has a good sense of humor.

“The original “white chick” and I…,” Marlon wrote on social media, “funny story one day my brother @therealdjsw1 calls me at 3am saying ‘marlon we should play white chicks’… i replied ‘n—a, you high?'”

“The next day he showed me a magazine with @parishilton and her sister on the cover and said we should play gurls like this. I immediately got it. They were so big and was the gateway to pop culture send up. We did that film in good spirit to celebrate a special time in all of our lives. So thank you paris and Nikki for being muses. Love ya. When we do #whitechicks2 ‘let’s go shopping’ ?.”
