The "No Limits" singer, whose daughter is now 8-month-old, described the social media altercation as an unfortunate incident in her life.

DaniLeigh worried about her daughter seeing the video when she is older but remained hopeful that she would not be crushed by it. She said,

It was very triggering, very sad. I wish it didn't happen because I don't want my baby to see that later on in life. But she'll grow to be her own person and to be able to take things in.

Martinez probed the protective mother about how she would explain what happened to her child. She replied that it boils down to who her daughter grows up to be.

She said, "The only responsibility I have is to raise her to be a strong woman. She'll feel how she feels. She's her own person."

DaniLeigh has grown a lot since her time with DaBaby. She admitted that allowing herself to get into a fight with him was "very selfish" but chalked it up to his personality.

As the mother-of-one maneuvers life as a co-parent with the "Blame it on Baby" rapper, she calls the situation challenging to her maturity.

"I've learned to love myself so much more," she says. "Because I feel like I really did love him so much that I was just giving it all to him ... I didn't even focus on my career."

Behind The "Dead To Me" Singer's IG Live Debacle

Last November, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department became involved in a domestic violence case between DaniLeigh and DaBaby

As The Blast disclosed, authorities charged the mother-of-one with simple assault in two incidents involving DaBaby after the "Baby on Baby" rapper called the police on her.

The debacle unfolded on Instagram Live where DaniLeigh was seen speaking with the police and asked to leave DaBaby's house with their child.

The "Easy" star said she was thrown out after ordering 'Plan B' to their home. She continued, “This all goes to say that this man is a f—ing coward!!!!!”

DaniLeigh added that she was asleep after cooking DaBaby dinner when he arrived back into the room to kick her out.

“Ima learn and Ima grow … but this right here. ain’t it.. and I’m sorry to my baby that her father is kicking her out of her home at three months," DaniLeigh said about the incident.

In the live stream, DaBaby yelled in the background,“Shawty’s not my girl. Ain’t never been my girl. It’s my side [chick],” to which she rebutted, “Shut up!” before storming out of the area.

DaBaby also posted his statement in a now-deleted video on his Instagram, saying he received multiple threats and went live with the debacle for his safety and reputation.

The "NASTY" rapper claimed DaniLeigh was “refusing to let him go,” and he was the victim of domestic violence, so he kicked her out. He also denied pressing charges against her and concluded,

“End of the day, no big deal, I don’t want no charges pressed or nothing. I just want her peacefully removed, which they need to hurry up and do as we speak. I ain’t even want that behavior on display, but it’s okay, man, this too shall pass. It’s all good."
