Actress Daisy Ridley is back on Instagram after a six-year hiatus and fans are eager to see more “Star Wars” content.

Although the “Chaos Walking” actress has been involved with a host of other projects, she will probably forever be known for her role as Rey in the “Star Wars” sequel trilogy. On May 4, known as Star Wars Day or May the 4th Be With You, Ridley shared some behind-the-scenes videos from her time on set.

Daisy Ridley Shares Behind The Scenes ‘Star Wars’ Videos

Ridley shared several snaps and videos from the set of 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker,” which marked the last movie in the Skywalker Saga. To date, this was the last “Star Wars” movie that was released in theaters, although Disney has been putting up plenty of content with live-action series, such as “The Mandalorian” and its spin-off series, “The Book of Boba Fett.” The highly anticipated “Obi-Wan Kenobi” series will debut later this month on May 27.

In the last video of the Instagram carousel, Daisy Ridley shows off an impressive choreographed lightsaber scene, which shows her thrusting, jabbing, and twirling her lightsaber around before she finishes the routine with her lightsaber slung over one shoulder. In her Instagram Stories, Ridley revealed that it didn't make it into the final cut of the film, but said that it was still fun to learn!

“BTS moments with the dream team,” Ridley captioned the post. “Happy Star Wars Day! #Maythe4thBeWithYou.”

Plenty of fans chimed into the comments wishing her a happy Star Wars Day too and shared some love for her character, Rey.

Daisy Ridley Teases Possible Return To ‘Star Wars’

Although the franchise has shifted its focus to many Disney+ live-action series, it’s possible that Rey will make her return on-screen one day.

Daisy, who had previously said “never say never” when hinting at a possible return to the franchise, was seen sporting a new pixie cut and a ruffled black dress on the 2022 BAFTA red carpet when she was asked about a possible return to the franchise.

A reporter said, “Do tell me. Do you miss being Rey? Are you going to make a return to ‘Star Wars’?”

“I’ll always be Rey,” Ridley replied with a smirk before jokingly adding, “Soundbite!”

So will Daisy Ridley ever reprise her role as Rey? Fans can't wait to find out!

Even if she doesn't return to the franchise, it seems that Ridley is still training like a Jedi! She posted a video late last month showing off how beneficial her new pixie cut is during intense workouts, especially during the core work she was showing off in the video above!

Mark Hamill Wishes Daisy Ridley A Happy 30th Birthday!

On both his Instagram and Twitter social media accounts, Mark Hamill wished Daisy Ridley a happy 30th birthday. Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley was born on April 10, 1992, in Westminster, London.

He included a behind-the-scenes photo taken while they were filming “The Last Jedi” together, with Mark riding on Daisy’s back similar to how Yoda had ridden on Luke’s back in the original “Star Wars” trilogy while Mark was training on Dagobah.

“SHOUT OUT to #DaisyJazzIsobelRidley for no particular reason, other than being a wonderful actor, a lovely person & for giving me one of the sweetest piggyback rides I've ever had,” Hamill wrote in the caption. “🙏👍❤️ #InA_ParkingLotFarFarAway”

On Twitter, Cliff Bleszinski commented on the post, saying, “I was on a Zoom with Bryan Burk and she randomly facetimed him while eating a burrito and I got to say hello. It was weird.”

Daisy Ridley Gets 'Star Wars' Surprise On Set!

Later on in the day, Daisy posted that she received an unexpected Star Wars Day surprise on set as she posted a photo of her posing with someone wearing a Kylo Ren costume. "May 4th surprise on set," she wrote in the caption. "Two worlds colliding!"
