"The New Classic" creator shared a slide of two videos of the artwork to her millions of followers. The first video showed the drawing on paper, while the second displayed the tattoo artist getting ready to ink the music star.

The tattoo was a drawing of a cherub that appeared to be her son, and the words “Onyx Orion” were written on a sash around the sketch’s midsection.

"My new favorite & most special tattoo! [cherub emoji] It makes me sooo happy that this was executed by a talented woman," Azalea wrote under the post. She concluded the caption by crediting the tattoo artist Lua Hills and appreciating the artwork.

Numerous fans reacted to the post, commending the art, the artist, and the musician. Some called the work precious, while a few regarded it as a perfect creation.

An avid supporter stated that Onyx was the most beautiful baby while comparing the child’s face with the mother’s own. Another fan called her the best mom in the world with a couple of heart emojis.

Hills appreciated working on Azalea as she remarked in the comments section, "Thank you so much for the trust, it was my absolute pleasure [red heart emoji]."

Before getting the new ink, the "Black Widow" rapper previously showed her numerous fans a teaser of the tattoo she would be getting via her Instagram story.

The Blast previously shared that she posted a black-and-white picture of the tattoo parlor where she would get the art done. The image also showed a framed photo of the soon-to-be-inked drawing.

She looked forward to having a permanent representation of her son with her as she admitted to fans that the plan was "Long overdue!"

The "In My Defence" star never ceased to showcase how much she loves and protects her baby boy, as she previously showed that she would not tolerate any criticism of her son on social media.

According to the outlet, fans were not so taken with Azalea dressing her son in a green dinosaur getup as they reacted with disapproving comments about the little boy.

The hateful remarks led Azalea to respond in kind, saying she would not indulge them with snaps of the youngster.

"I’ve decided I won't be posting about onyx or sharing images online anymore. Y’all not about to be out here playing with my baby on my watch, nope!" she warned on Twitter.

The loving mother further lashed out at statements about why she did not select better wears for her child’s pictures. She called the haters “corny and bored” for being wretched enough to bully a one-year-old.

In addition, several more fans wondered why her baby father, Carti, did not have a say in the kid’s clothing choices. She retorted that Onyx was not a “sub-brand” of his father’s fans to “obsess over or clown on.”

Azalea and Carti have been at odds since their separation, and she revealed the extent of their estrangement in response to the 25-year-old rap star’s interview statements for the XXL Spring 2022 Issue.

The Blast revealed the 31-year-old’s Twitter remarks, showing Carti was not the outstanding father figure fans believed he was. The tweets have since been deleted, but The Shade Room captured shots of her remarks.

The particular statement that triggered her response was one where the "Magnolia" vocalist replied to a question about how he liked being a dad and how parenting had been for him.

Carti mentioned that he had many responsibilities as a father, and he would continue to carry them out. He further stated that he took care of lots of people, including his baby mama and his son.
