Voice actor John DiMaggio, who is probably best known for voicing Bender on “Futurama” recently lost his pet cat to cancer.

He took to social media to share the news, which had many fans and famous friends pouring in their condolences, including “Star Wars” alum Mark Hamill.

The “Disenchantment” voice actor posted a statement on both his Instagram and Twitter accounts announcing the news. “RIP my sweet guy,” he wrote. “Had to say goodbye yesterday after a long bout with the big C. Now you can rest easy, lil’ homie. Love you, pally, you’re the bestest boy ever. #Roger 🌈🌈🌈”

Mark Hamill, who plays Luke Skywalker in the “Star Wars” franchise and is also an accomplished voice actor in his own right, commented on the tweet with a broken-heart emoji.

Another voice actor, Steve Blum, commented, “So sorry, bro. Sending you guys all the love.”

Voice actor and comedian Jon Bailey wrote, “So very sorry, bro” along with a broken-heart emoji.

On Instagram, comedian Drew Droege commented, “I’m so sorry. Sending you both so much love.”

Voice actress Lauren Tom commented, “So sorry John, we know how much you loved Roger…”

James Patrick Stuart wrote, “John, I am so very sorry for you and Kate. I feel your pain. Never met Roger but he was a legend.”

DiMaggio’s wife, Kate Miller, commented, “❤️❤️❤️ He loved Daddy.” The two have been married since 2014.
