Are Drake and Taylor Swift about to smash the Billboard charts with a collaboration?
That is the million-dollar question on everyone’s minds after the Canadian rapper shared a throwback picture of the “Shake It Off” singer on his Instagram.
The “God’s Plan” artist recently left fans grasping at straws after sharing a cryptic message alongside a carousel of images.
Fans Speculate As Drake Shares Rare Throwback Picture With Taylor Swift

When it comes to making award-winning hits, Drake and Swift are dominant figures in their respective genres, with several accolades under their names.
It appears the two music giants may be planning the collaboration of the century or that is at least what some fans wish to believe.
A possible duet’s speculation began sweeping social media platforms following the “Toosie Slide” rapper’s Instagram photo dump, which caught the world off-guard.
The Toronto-born artist shared five snaps in total, with the first being a recent image of the 35-year-old rocking his signature beard and cornrows.
The second photo captured the OVO Sound founder’s 4-year-old son Adonis, whom he shares with the French artist Sophie Brussaux.
In the image, the adorable blonde-haired boy twinned it up with his father by donning a similar cornrows hairstyle and flashing a peace sign at the camera like a Hip-hop star.
The third slide showed the “Wants and Needs” singer at the beach, standing in front of the shoreline as the waves danced behind him in the picturesque sunset.
For the fourth image, the father-of-one gave fans a close-up view of himself, flaunting his perfectly groomed beards and cornrows while giving the camera a bored look as he rested his knuckles on his face.
Finally came the picture that broke the internet! In the never-before-seen throwback snap, Drake embraced Swift from the back while the “Blank Space” songstress held on to his arm.

The photo appeared to be old, as the dynamic pair looked younger and donned different looks from their current styles.
The 4-time Grammy winner had a brush haircut unlike his recent cornrows while the 32-year-old no longer rocked the shaggy Bob hairstyle and bangs that almost covered her eyes.
If the “Bad Blood” singer’s inclusion in the photo dump was not confusing enough, the “In the Bible” rapper further teased fans by captioning the post with:
“They too soft to understand the meaning of hard work”
Following the Canadian heartthrob’s upload, Twitter fans began speculating whether or not the chart-toppers were gearing up for a collaboration or something more intimate.
A female admirer wrote, “ARTISTS OF THE DECADE,” a sentiment many fans shared as another Twitter user enthusiastically proclaimed, “THEY’RE COMING I CAN FEEL IT.”
One fan wrote that he/she was not expecting this surprising post but planned to “gladly eat it up anyway.” A fourth supporter turned into a conspiracy theorist, explaining the significance of Drake’s post by writing:
“He posted this as the 5th photo and 1989 is her 5th album and she has a 1989-era haircut!! 1898 tv is coming”
However, not everyone reacted excitedly to the news as some expressed disbelief and fear that the “Fair Trade” rapper’s heart had been stolen by Swift.
“Can’t wait to hear all the heartbreak songs that come from this,” one fan stated, referring to the Blonde singer’s style of writing songs about her ex-boyfriends.
The “You Belong With Me” Singer’s Childhood Home Is Up For Purchase

Earlier this month, The Blast reported that Swift’s childhood home in Pennsylvania had been listed for $1 million on the real estate market.
The property which has five bedrooms and four bathrooms was previously rented by the Swift family years before the songstress gained worldwide recognition.
Rumors claimed that the 11-time Grammy winner wrote the songs “Love Story” and “Teardrops On My Guitar” at the house, which also had the words ‘TAS’ carved in the cement outside the home.
It could be possible that ‘TAS’ represented the singer’s full name ‘Taylor Allison Swift,’ however, these speculations have not been confirmed.
According to sources, the 32-year-old has written songs about her childhood home, including “Christmas Tree Farm,” where she discussed growing up in a house with a tree farm.
Although the listed Pennsylvania property did not mention a tree farm, it does come with a patio and heated pool.
