Jennifer Garner Turned 50 On Easter: 'Knocked My Socks Off'

Jennifer Garner just took 50 rounds of the sun, celebrating her 50th on Easter Sunday, for some Easter Bunny magic. Considering she's become a celebrity farm girl, we are sure her birthday was a hoot, a bleat, and a neigh because that's the kind of mood she was in to celebrate her birthday.

Celebrities poured in their wishes for Garner, and she also got a very special pre-birthday surprise, the kind that knocked the purple socks off her feet.

Garner was certainly excited about her birthday as she posted a video of the cutest farm animals jumping around in glee - with a pony, a lamb, and the most adorable llamas.

It seems Garner is also getting wiser as she dropped some wisdom earlier this week on her Instagram stories. This is something she got from her mom, writing, "Wisdom from Mom — happiness is your own responsibility. The life you're living while you wait for the grade, the college, the job, the man, is your actual life. Decide to enjoy it and work towards your own peace and contentment.”

We agree, and in the meanwhile, celebs filled her Instagram with the best wishes.

Reese Witherspoon wrote: "Happiest Birthday to our happy little farm girl! ?"

Rita Wilson, commented, "Happy Birthday sweet Jen! The best is yet to come."

Ina Garten also sent her wishes: "Happy, Happy Birthday!!! Sending lots of love. ❤️❤️❤️"

Maria Shriver also wrote Garner a sweet message: "Happy happy my friend what a great day to have a birthday," because this year, Garner's birthday fell on Easter.

Chelsea Handler also sent her a funny message, writing, "Happy birthday, you sweet pickle!!"

Right before she shared the Instagram post of the cutest and happiest baby animals jumping around, Garner honored her children with the sweetest Instagram story.

Along with a video of two sea otters hugging, and we cannot get over the cuteness of that, Garner wrote, "On the eve of a new decade, there is no doubt that the center of my gratitude stems from the health, humor, challenge, wisdom, silliness, patience, cozy-ness, strength, intelligence, kindness, frustration, and adorable-ness of my kids. I can't believe I get to know them and hold their hands through life, and I am prayerfully grateful for each of them in mine."

Garner also got a lovely pre-birthday surprise from someone she idolized as a child. Ahead of her, Sunday birthday and Easter celebrations, the "Yes Day" star got a surprise from Donny Osmond on Friday, itself.

Garner shared a clip on Instagram where she seemed to be completely floored as she watched Osmond, 64, singing to her for her birthday before he popped up behind her to complete the tune and the surprise. Garner blushingly hid her face in her hands before she got up to hug Osmond.

She then removed her jumper, saying she was so hot, and displayed Osmond's gift for her in a simple white tee. She then sang with him as well.

Wrote Garner, "My first (pre)birthday surprise was a doozy— the one and only, a legend in his own time, object of my childhood adoration and devotion— @donnyosmond showed up to knock my purple socks off. He took an hour and a half of his day to sit with me, sing my favorites, and to give me a master class on how to be a class act. Thank you, Donny. ? Hi, @marieosmond. ☺️ I hope to meet you someday, Debbie."
