Scott Disick Says An 'Age-Appropriate Relationship' Will Be A 'Big Step' For Him

Scott Disick's controversial dating choices have thrust him into the public glare more than he would have liked in recent years. From 2005 until 2015, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reality TV star dated Kourtney Kardashian, then Sofia Richie for three years before another romance with Amelia Hamlin that ended in late 2021.

While his relationship with Kourtney resulted in three children and was well-accepted by the KUWTK fans, his previous two romances with Richie and Hamlin drew the ire of social media users owing to the significant age difference between Disick and his lovers.

Scott has now spoken out about his relationships, stating that "Age Doesn't Matter," but that it would be a "big step" to have an "age-appropriate" relationship.

In the premiere episode of Hulu's "The Kardashians," (Via InTouch) Scott Disick remarked that dating someone his age would be a huge one for him. The reality star divulged this while speaking with Khloé Kardashian about the upcoming show.

During the talk, he joked that he wasn't interested in anyone above 30. However, he later claimed that age is unimportant in a romance as long as he has affection for the individual. Scott then talked at length about Kourtney's new relationship with Travis Baker, alluding that it was his sign to move on.

"Honestly, I think for the first time in my life, it's finally starting to change now that Kourtney has her life with Travis," Scott said, referencing his former relationship with the mother of his children. "As hard as it is, it does give me a place to finally be able to move on."

While Disick was in a relationship with Kourtney, he developed a close friendship with the Kardashians' family, attending their family functions and shows. However, their intimacy has dwindled in recent years, as Disick pointed out during the segment.

The father of three stated that he would like to continue being included around the family and that being left out of plans was "hurtful." Khloé, 37, felt that this would be a bad idea because Baker and Kourtney usually act mushy around one other, which may be uncomfortable for Disick.

Since their split, Disick and Kourtney have continued to co-parent their three kids, Mason Dash, Penelope Scotland, and Reign Aston.

Though it may appear that Disick still has a soft place for the Kardashians, he, like Kourtney, has moved on to a new relationship. According to Life and Style, the "Flip-It Like Disick" creator is dating Rebecca Donaldson.

While Scott and Rebecca have just recently made their relationship apparent, he took a huge step of showing her off on the red carpet for the official premiere of "Kardashians on Hulu" on April 7. The duo appeared to be in their own world as they grinned and posed for the paparazzi.

According to a close source, Donaldson is looking for something more serious with Disick, and even though she is not currently based in Disick's area, that might change soon.

The source also revealed that Disick's relationship with Donaldson has the blessing of the mother of his children. "Kourtney is overjoyed that Scott is now dating someone his own age," the source said per Life and Style.

"She feels like Rebecca, being in her late 20s, is ideal for Scott because his history with dating teenagers never ever seems to end well," the insider continued, alluding to Scott's last two girlfriends, Richie and Hamlin, who started dating the reality star when she was 19 years old.

Kourtney is also thrilled that when her three children are with their father, they will be chaperoned by an older lady rather than a teen. "It makes her feel better knowing Rebecca is with the kids instead of someone in their teens," the source also claimed.

While Kourtney is thrilled for Disick, the reality star's romance with Donaldson, 27, will also offer him some public goodwill since he has consistently faced condemnation for dating younger girls.
