Kourtney Kardashian is getting real about her fertility struggles on her and Travis Barker's journey to expanding their family. With the premiere of "The Kardshaians" fast approaching, Kourtney opened up to ET Online.

Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker Have Baby Fever

Since debuting their relationship in January 2021 and their eventual engagement in October 2021, Kourtney and Travis have been on our necks with their intense show of love.

However, fans got to see a different side to their relationship in March. When the trailer for Hulu’s “The Kardashians” was released, Kourtney was seen attending a fertility clinic with her soon-to-be husband, taking fans by surprise.

”Travis and I want to have a baby,” Kourtney said during the snippet confessional as a scene showed a doctor asking her to give a sample in a cup.

The news indeed came as a surprise given that both Kourtney and Travis have kids from previous relationships. The Poosh founder is a proud mother of three kids, Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, all from her long on-and-off relationship with baby daddy Scott Disick.

On the other hand, the Blink-182 drummer has two children Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16 from his marriage to Shanna Moakler.

Before the lovebirds broke the news in the trailer, they had previously hinted at having a child together with their Halloween costumes in 2021.

The pair who dressed as characters from the 1993 movie, “True Romance,” joked in the caption of their Instagram post that “our son’s name would be Elvis.”

The ‘KUWTK’ Alum Talks Struggle Of Having A Kid

A month after the trailer aired, Kourtney gave fans an update on how the journey of getting pregnant has been so far.

While speaking to ET’s Lauren Zima, the 42-year-old said, “It’s a beautiful thing that we'd love to have happen, but the journey is a bit hard for any woman who went on it.”

To which Khloe added, “and emotional,” something Kourtney nodded in agreement.

Earlier this month, the “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami” star opened up about getting in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and how the medication was causing fluctuating estrogen levels, leading to weight gain. She also shared that the treatments “put her into menopause.”

Addressing the negative impact of IVF, Kourtney said, “I’m, like, it’s so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they’re going through.”

A source close to the couple told the outlet that having a child is “very important and exciting” for Kourtney and Travis.

The Update On The Wedding Bells!

During the interview, Kourtney also spoke about wedding plans. When asked by Zima about the “real” wedding plans following the successful “practice,” Kourtney answered, “we don’t know yet.”

”We’re just living our best lives,” she quipped. As for if the nuptials would be a big or small ceremony, she answered that it remains uncertain.

As you might know, Kourtney and Travis set the internet on flames when news broke that they legally tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas shortly after the Grammys.

The pair reportedly exchanged vows at One Love Wedding Chapel around 1:30 AM shortly after Travis’ performance at the award ceremony.

However, news soon surfaced that Kourtney and Travis didn't get hitched legally instead it was just for fun. Kourtney confirmed the news with playful photos and a hilarious caption that read, "Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). Practice makes perfect."
