As Underwood reached the end of her song, she showed off some surprising acrobatic skills. She hooked her arms onto one of the silk attachments and spun like a trained ballerina.

The talented musical powerhouse rose to the air without missing a beat in her song and balanced on the silk in a horizontal position.

Underwood ended her rigorous performance while suspended and belted the last lines to "Ghost Story," with her head almost upside down.

The mother-of-two also won two awards. One of which was in the category of video of the year for her collaboration with Jason Aldean in “If I Didn’t Love You."

Even more impeccable than Underwood's performance at the ceremony is her record of accolades. She is the most awarded musician in the CMT Awards history with a whopping 25 nods.
