Award-winning songstress Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, popularly known as Lady Gaga, is a proud dog owner whose three dogs were victims of dognapping last year.
The three dogs, Koji, Gustav, and Miss Asia, were eventually recovered; however, Ryan Fischer, the dog walker, was shot during the dognapping incident.
The shooter was later apprehended and has now been mistakenly released. Fischer took to Instagram to express his much-warranted concern while appreciating his supporters in light of the release.
Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Ryan Fischer Is Upset About Dog Shooter’s Recent Release
"While I’m deeply concerned at the events that led to his release, I'm confident law enforcement will rectify the error," Fischer began in the caption.
He continued, “I ask for Mr. Jackson to turn himself over to the authorities, so resolution to the crime committed against me run its course, whatever the courts determine that outcome to be”
The victimized dog walker concluded his words with, “Thank you to everyone who is supporting me during this time. –Ryan Fischer.” The message was written under a post with similar words.
Compassionate fans sent their love to Fischer, who appreciated them all. A fan told him to be safe and hoped the issue was fixed soon, while another gave him a few tips on how to go through the triggering period.
One wrote, "Thinking of you today. Pissed and gut-wrenched hearing about this today. Sending you a million pounds of love [double heart emoji]."
Fischer admitted that it had been challenging, but he was pretty happy to be in a better place to process his emotions.
He received quite a lot of support, and they meant everything to him as he constantly stated so in response to their comments.
Last September, The Blast detailed the dognapping incident that led to the shooting of the devoted dog caretaker. Around the same time, Fischer had his first interview since the tragic experience.

A few months before the interview, the dog lover who has been Gaga’s dog walker for years took her three furry pets on a night walk in Hollywood, California.
Three masked men accosted him during the walk and tried to steal the pups, but Fischer struggled against them. The dognappers were eventually able to steal the dogs as one of them shot the dog keeper.
The bullet punctured his lungs, and luckily for him, he survived the occurrence and told “CBS Mornings'” Gayle King all about that night. He was still recovering physically, mentally, and emotionally.
As Fischer revealed, the shot was pretty severe as he had to return to the hospital a second time to have another surgery because his lungs had collapsed.
The ER specialists did not believe he would survive the shooting night, but he did. He also mentioned being fully awake while being operated upon the same night.
After getting discharged from the hospital the first time, Fischer had to be readmitted again for a “strange hissing and glugging” sound emanating from his chest.
His lungs collapsed multiple times, and it became clear that it was not healing. The bullet wound scarred his tissue “like a burn,” and the hole would take a while to seal.

Following the shooting episode, Gaga’s dog warden started a GoFundMe page as he became financially disabled due to the money spent on hospital bills.
As The Blast reported, Fischer shared the page to fans while stating that he was scared, lonely, and felt abandoned. He also experienced depression, doubt, and self-pity.
His message further revealed he had no vehicle or apartment, had run out of savings, and was surviving on donations from family and friends.
Fans of the famous songstress slammed her for not supporting her employee as she previously offered a $500,000 reward for her pet’s recovery.
The BAFTA Award nominee did not address the allegations; however, a source noted that she offered to handle Fischer’s $100,000 medical bills.
In light of the shooting, The Blast reported the recovery of video footage of the incident. The tape showed the entire scene, including Fischer’s struggling with the dog thieves and him being shot in the chest.
The men’s faces could not be identified as the footage was blurry, but Gaga believed there was hope as the tape would help the authorities with the dognapping investigation.
The media channel further noted that the motive of the robbery was vague as it was not known if the celebrity’s pets were the intended target or the criminals just aimed at a random person on the road.
