Actor Vin Diesel just dropped the newest “F10” cast member on Instagram.

It seems that “Captain Marvel” herself, Brie Larson, will be trading in her Marvel superhero outfit for a role in the “Fast & Furious” finale. Although fans don’t know much about the new character she will play right now, Diesel teased that she “will add something you might not have expected but yearned for” to the franchise.

Vin Diesel began the introduction by posting a selfie of the two laughing side by side together.

“Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ‘ that’s captain Marvel’. Clearly there is love and laughter in this image,” he began.

“What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10,” he continued. “You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for.”

“Welcome to the FAMILY Brie,” he concluded.

Ludacris gave the casting his approval and dropped two star emojis into the comments.

Back in February, Uproxx released an interview that came out alongside her Nissan Super Bowl ad. At the time, Larson said that she would “one hundred percent” love to appear in a “Fast & Furious” movie.

“Please, please tell everybody I would, of course, want to be in a Fast & Furious movie,” she said. “I’m obsessed. I love them. I think they’re so good. They’re so fun. And they’ve made me appreciate cars. And it’s something that should be appreciated. They’re incredible. So of course, please.”

When Mirren was asked if she had asked Vin Diesel about appearing in the popular action franchise, Mirren responded, “I didn’t ask, I begged!”

“I think I was at some function, and he was there, and I got introduced to him,” she explained. “And I was shameless: ‘Oh God, I’d just love to be in one of your movies! Please let me be in it.’ And then Vin, with that beautiful, deep voice of his, said: ‘I’ll see what I can do.’ And he did it for me.”

“He found this great little role for me, which was perfect,” he added. “I’d just never done anything like that before — one of those big, big movies. And, in my vanity, I just loved driving and really wanted to do my own driving in a fast car.”
