Ben Affleck & Jennifer Lopez Are Engaged For The SECOND Time!

It seems that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are finally ready to walk down the aisle again.

The power couple, who fans have dubbed “Bennifer” was engaged back in 2002, but called it quits only days before the wedding. They both went on to marry different people and had children with their respective partners.

But now it seems that the two are finally ready to take the trip back down the aisle, as JLo announced the engagement in a short video on her fan newsletter, where she could be seen sporting a diamond ring with a green hue.

In a video posted to Facebook, JLo says, “So I have a really exciting and special story to share.” She directed her fans to her newsletter on her website, where she shares “more personal” things with her “inner circle.” Getting back together with your ex is definitely personal news, but fans were quick to congratulate the couple in the comments.

“Congratulations to you JLo and Ben,” one fan wrote. “What a lovely and beautiful couple you are. God bless you both and your family.”

“Congratulations to you and Ben,” another wrote. “This time, you will be happily ever after.”

“Congratulations to both of you, Jen L and Ben!!!” another shared. “I told you so when they broke up years ago, I told a friend they will be back together again! Their chemistry with each other is extra special and totally made for each other!”

“Wow!! Congratulations!!” said another. “Hope you get everything you hope for!!”

“Congratulations!!! You guys are awesome!! Hope you have many happy years together!!!” another added. “Now days you struggle to get True Love!! And after years of not being together, you guys found each other again!! True Love Story....”

“Is this going to be the 4th or 5th?” another asked. “Hopefully this will be beautiful and the right time.....to be a first love is wonderful, but to be the last love is the blessing in life! Congratulations!”

Although the power couple was previously engaged in 2002 – 20 years ago! – they called it quits before their 2003 wedding, citing “excessive media attention” surrounding their wedding.

“Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date,” the couple said in a joint statement at the time. “When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate ‘decoy brides’ at three different locations, we realized that something was awry.”

The statement continued, “We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised. We felt what should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoiled for us, our families, and our friends.”

After the two couldn't make it work, they both went their separate ways. Eventually, they both went on to marry, and have children with, other people.

“The Last Duel” actor, 49, had three children with “The Adam Project” actress Jennifer Garner after tying the knot in 2005. They later called it quits in 2018.

The “On The Floor” singer, 52, has been married several times. She married Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998. She was legally married to Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003. After her split from Ben Affleck, she married Marc Anthony in 2004 and had twins.

They called it quits in 2014 and JLo went on to date Alex Rodriquez in 2017. However, it seems she got cold feet after the engagement and called the couple called it quits in 2021. JLo and Ben Affleck were spotted out and about not long after her public split with A-Rod.

The two haven't announced a date for their wedding yet, but fans are wishing them both the best!
