Willow Smith Hints Everyone Is Going Through A Lot

In the event you haven’t caught up with the news, Will Smith stormed the Oscars stage while Chris Rock was giving a speech leading up to presenting an award.

In true Oscars fashion, the comedian threw in a joke and it happened to be aimed at Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

Amy Kaufman summed up what happened for everyone who missed the exchange, explaining, “Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett-Smith being in ‘G.I. Jane’ because of her bald head. She’s spoken openly about having a hair loss condition. Will Smith ran on stage, slapped Rock, then screamed twice at the top of his lungs ‘KEEP MY WIFE’S NAME OUT OF YOUR F**KING MOUTH.'”

The audio was cut and fans were left wondering if it was a joke or if Will was seriously angry.

Turns out, the “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” star was REALLY angry.

The Oscar-winner has since publicly apologized to the comedian.

Now, Will’s youngest, Willow, is speaking out in a cryptic message.

The singer took to her Instagram Story earlier this week and reposted a message from Jay Shetty.

The message read, “You know who’s going through a lot right now? Literally everyone. Just be kind.”

Willow’s message and request for kindness comes on the heels of her mother’s plea for healing.

On Tuesday, March 29, Jada shared a note that read, “This is a season for healing and I’m here for it.”

Jada Breaks Silence Following Will's Oscar Smackdown

On the opposite side of the peace and love aisle was Jaden Smith, Will’s second-born son, and Jada’s first-born.

Following his father’s public display of anger, Jaden Smith took to Twitter to post, “And That’s How We Do It.”

While he could be referring to his dad’s Oscar win, Twitterati took it in context of the slap and a debate ensued.

One person shot back at Jaden writing, “Watching you dad have an emotionally violent meltdown over a mild joke on live TV and in fron of every important person in Hollywood isn’t as bada** you seem to think it is.”

Another criticized him responding,” Jaden, your father is a 53-year-old grown adult man. Dude should already have his s**t together, by now. I would actually be embarrassed to see my father act like this, in public. Especially over a vanilla joke, from a professional comedian..”

In the midst of everyone having a say on what happened and what is right versus what is wrong, Will could face a year-long ban from the Academy.

The Blast reported yesterday that the ‘Best Actor’ winner’s actions could cost him Oscar nominations in 2023.

His film “Emancipation” could be considered for nominations; however, his performance could be snubbed… on purpose.

During the “TODAY” show on Tuesday, March 29, Matt Belloni of Puck News said, “I think the Academy is very upset, the members I’ve spoken to are just appalled that this took place on the Oscar stage.”

He continued, “There will be a punishment. I don’t think they will take away his Oscar … that is for [‘King Richard’], for the work he’s done.”

Belloni added that he would not be surprised if the Academy suspends him for a year.

“But I would not be surprised if they suspend him [from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences] for a year, six months — really give him a public lashing, so to speak, where he will feel something and not be able to get a nomination for a movie that he has coming out next year,” he explained.
