Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead are still going strong. Since they were linked last year, the pair has kept their romance out of the public, but it appears they are finally ready to bring it to the forefront.
Earlier this month, Anstead had stunned both Zellweger fans and his followers by sharing a private shot of them kissing on Instagram. The lavish gift came as a complete surprise, as it revealed details about their romance in the kindest way possible.
In a similar vein, Zellweger recently revealed further information about her relationship with her current lover, including how and when she met him.
How Did They Meet?
As per People, The award-winning actress spoke to Harper's Bazaar about the events that led to her and boyfriend Anstead's meeting, describing their relationship as "serendipity." She revealed that they met on the set of Anstead's show
"Celebrity IOU: Joyride," adding that Brad Pitt had a role in her deciding to appear as a guest on the show.
"It was around 'Judy,'" Zellweger said. "Late night, and I remember I watched the 'Property Brothers' with Brad Pitt."
Zellweger was referring to a "Celebrity IOU" episode Pitt recorded with Drew and Jonathan Scott in which the actor nominated his makeup artist for a garage remodel. As a result of watching the episode, the actress felt compelled to help Jerome and Jerald Cowan, twin nurses who cared for her dear friend, publicist Nanci Ryder, during her fight with ALS. Ryder died in 2020 at the age of 67.
In the end, Zellweger met the show's presenter, Anstead, and the two connected right away.
'Celebrity IOU'
At the time when Zellweger watched Pitt's feature on "Celebrity IOU," the show revolved around A-listers surprising their close pals who had helped them get ahead in their career with a house makeover supervised by the Scotts.
During the show's stint on-air, Kim Kardashian, Kevin Hart, Melissa McCarthy, Viola Davis, and a slew of other celebrities appeared as guests. Zellweger's own feature, however, came in the spin-off of the show "Celebrity IOU: Joyride."
The show followed the same emotional theme like its parent series, but instead of house renovations, the prize was spectacular bespoke vehicles. Ultimately, Jerome received a 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass, Jerald received a vintage Bronco to reward their kind efforts.

"Renée and my relationship is something that's really private," Anstead told People. "It's something I'm not really willing to talk too much about. It's really early in our relationship and I don't want to put any pressure on that."
Even though followers do not hear much from the two, they are content to get nice photographs on their social media accounts.
