The "What You Waiting For?" songstress had a skip to her step as she trotted towards the guest seat on the show in her black-and-white ensemble and blue boots.

The host mentioned that Stefani had gotten married since they last met, and the star showed off her multiple-ringed fingers to viewers. Surprisingly, none of the rings was her wedding band as she forgot to wear the jewelry.

She noted that it was her first time on the show since her marriage, so she planned on showing off the sparkling piece to Jimmy Kimmel and ended up forgetting. However, Kimmel pointed out that her ring finger was the only one without a ring.

"I love my husband, and I love being married to him, and it’s just the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, so here we are."

The talk show presenter went on to ask if Shelton ever forgot to put his ring on, and the loving wife said no. She recalled an instance when the 45-year-old came into her glam room with a ladder to help with the beeping alarm.

He had the ring on at the time, and even her assistant noticed, saying the ring looked good. The 52-year-old agreed and admitted she found it to be so sexy.

Kimmel later showed a photo of the couple's wedding where Stefani, Shelton, and the ring bearer Carson Daly struck a pose.

Preparations for the wedding came about during the COVID-19 lockdown, and the couple did not have anyone to formalize the union. So, Stefani thought of Daly since they both knew him so well.

She wanted the ceremony to be serious and wanted someone in their spiritual circle to officiate the marriage. She also revealed that she felt nervous asking Daly to do so as it was a pretty big deal to ask anyone.

Daly was pretty excited and serious when he got the request. He also encouraged the partners to write their wedding vows.

Shelton's vows which he performed as a song, made the "The Sweet Escape" star cry so hard that she had to redo her makeup before taking photos.
