Randall Emmett Says Lala Kent 'Made Mistakes' In Their Relationship

Randall Emmett just publicly shaded his ex-fiancée while simultaneously saying he’d never talk “ill” of the mother of his child.
Lala Kent and Emmett broke up late last year after the Hollywood producer was caught cheating on multiple occasions.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star broke off their engagement and years-long relationship in October 2021 after Emmett had a honky-tonk time in Nashville, TN. with mystery women.
Since the breakup, Kent has moved out of the Bel-Air mansion and settled in an upscale yet “modest” apartment with her one-year-old daughter, Ocean.

The “Give Them Lala” author shares Ocean with Emmett.
In a new podcast appearance, Emmett briefly opens up about his failed relationship with the reality TV star and it’s possibly one of the most back-handed apologies/explanations ever.
Emmett sat down with his close friend Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi for her podcast, “Genuinely GG.”
The full episode drops on Wednesday, March 23.
In a snippet from the episode obtained by Page Six, Emmett says, “I’ve made mistakes, she’s made mistakes, but I’m never going to bring that to light because that’s just not right.”
Randall Says Lala "Made Mistakes" As Well
For Emmett, trash-talking his ex and airing their dirty laundry isn’t something he feels is necessary or appropriate.
Kent has gone on the record multiple times telling her side of the story.
“I can’t tell her what to do. She’s a strong woman, and I just hope that in time that kind of all mellows out,” Emmett told GG.
Randall Vows To Never Talk Ill Of Lala Kent
Kent accused Emmett of cheating on her repeatedly during the course of their relationship.
In fact, she went on the record saying he hooked up with a 23-year-old the same month she gave birth to their daughter.
She previously said that dating Emmett was the “worst thing to ever happen or come into her life.”
Earlier this year while appearing on “Watch What Happens Live,” a fan wrote into the show asking, “Is this the only time Randall cheated, or is it the only time he got caught.”
Lala responded, “No, this has been going on for quite some time. It’s been kind of repeated behavior that I have found out about, and it’s not just one person, it’s many. I believe it started after I got sober, and it’s just, I don’t know how I didn’t see it.”
The “Give Them Lala” founder revealed that there was no closure at all when it came to her exit from the relationship.
She revealed they talk through an app to strictly communicate about their daughter.
“Ocean is the main focus and that’s how we communicate. So, if it doesn’t have to do with her, then I have no desire to communicate with that person,” she told Cohen.

Emmett echoed this sentiment telling GG, “She’s the mother of my child, so no matter what happens in life, I will never disparage or talk ill about her because she’s Ocean’s mom.”
“The truth is, I just always have to look at the big picture, which is she’s the mother of Ocean, and I just can’t talk badly about the mother of my child. I just can’t do it, no matter what is said about me or what she says,” he admitted.
Unfortunately for fans wanting to know his take on the relationship and subsequent breakup, they’ll never get to hear his side because he has vowed to “never go into” how he feels about the split given it’s “not relevant on a public platform.”
“I just feel like what I’m going through and what I’ve gone through, my mistakes and my accountability in that, she also has a side to it, which again, I will never go into,” he said. “But I feel like at the end of the day, we have Ocean, we have this beautiful girl that is the most important thing.”
Emmett and Kent were engaged in 2018 after three years of dating. They had to postpone their wedding nuptials multiple times due to COVID-19.
