Lauren Elyse Burningham, popularly known as Lala Kent, became widely regarded as a media personality with her appearance on Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules.”
She is pretty ambitious and was featured in a series of productions, including “Dudes & Dragons,” “The Row,” “Pitching Love and Catching Faith,” among others.
The celebrity is a proud mother to Ocean Kent Emmett, who recently had a cute pre-birthday celebration that Lala shared on her Instagram story.
Lala Kent Celebrates Pre-Birthday Party With “Vanderpump Rules” Co-stars
Lala organized an early ocean-themed party for her one-year-old daughter ahead of the actual birthday on March 15.
She shared a video showing the party’s setting, which appeared to have taken place in a yard. Tons of food and drinks were available for all at the colorful event.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star wrote on her story, “A little taste of O’s birthday party over the weekend.” She and her daughter appeared thrilled to celebrate the first birthday of the mini-Kent.
PEOPLE reported that the event took place in Brittany Cartwright and her husband Jax Taylor’s backyard. Cartwright is a fellow co-star of “Vanderpump Rules.”
Both former and current co-stars were invited to the party, including their kids. They all came together with Lala’s family to help with preparations and enjoy the merriment.
The loving mother told the news outlet, “Ocean tuning one is bittersweet. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone, but to see these little milestones happening in the past year has been beautiful to watch.”
Ocean could be seen rocking a purple mermaid outfit at the scene while beaming throughout as she had fun with her friends.
The kids engaged in numerous fun activities such as hitting the ball pit, jumping in the bounce house, and trying the special birthday treats.
There was also a pastel-colored table for Ocean and her friends with specially made cups, straws, and seashell-adorned sunglasses.
The party was organized by Picnic + Petal, popular event planners who perfected everything to a tee, including the “Give Them Ocean” section.
The section was for guests to check out the customized merch, including hats, T-shirts, and other pieces of stuff with the celebrant’s face and a catchphrase on them.
Lala talked about the most exciting moment of the event to PEOPLE, saying, “The best moment was singing happy birthday and watching her smash her cake. It was a birthday that was full of so much love.”
The cake was handmade by The Gateaux Shoppe, and Ocean gobbled it up with enthusiasm, not minding anyone, only pleasing her appetite.
Ocean’s father, Randall Emmett, also Lala’s former partner, did not show up at the party. However, it was still a memorable and remarkable day for the youngster and her mom.
The 31-year-old further talked about the celebration, saying, “Ocean had the best time. The parents had the best time. It was an amazing first birthday party.”
Lala does not plan on having more kids, but if she chooses to, there will be no man involved, based on her revelation to the media channel.
The TV star currently focuses on raising Ocean and running her “Give them Lala” brand, including beauty, skin, and baby products.
The “Give Them Lala” Icon Prepares Ahead For Open Conversation About Ex With Daughter

Last month, The Blast reported that Lala was preparing for the day Ocean asked about her separation from her ex, Ocean’s father.
She believes the time will come when she will have to detail the painful period to her baby girl. Randall and Lala separated in October 2021 following cheating allegations.
The Utah native has moved on from her past with Randall; however, she previously mentioned her plans to “have an open conversation” with her daughter about the split.
She revealed that she would explain everything to Ocean at the right time, and she intended to teach her “the importance of being a good person.”
The mother-of-one further stated, “I will send her into the world feeling strong, safe, and loved. She will be unbreakable. The world isn’t ready for the force my daughter will become.”
The statement showed she would not want her daughter to go through the trauma she experienced upon hearing about Randall’s affairs.
Lala previously insinuated that her ex was a narcissist and later addressed the cheating scandal on her podcast.
At the time, the “Pitching Love and Catching Faith” actress was uncomfortable opening up about the issue as she went through a lot and prioritized protecting Ocean.
