The late Traci Braxton was the second daughter out of five girls in the Braxton family, after Toni Braxton and the third born after Michael Jr. Braxton. 

She was a talented singer, radio personality, and onscreen star featured on the reality show "Braxton Family Values."

Unfortunately, her time in the world was cut short due to a severe condition that she and her family kept private until her death but not before hearing from one of her favorite celebrities.

Significantly few people were privy to Traci's illness, including the famous Kevin Hart, who made a video of himself wishing the late singer well before her passing.

Toni recently shared the video on her Instagram and explained how not many people knew of her sister's sickness because she preferred to keep it private. She further thanked the comedian for his message. The "Un-Break My Heart" singer wrote:

"Special thanks to @kevinhart4real for taking the time to send her love and well wishes.. you were her favorite. We really appreciate you."

Hart's thirty-nine seconds' video began with, "Hey, this message is for Traci. I was just made aware that you are a fan and how long you've been a fan."

"I am now aware of the love that you've given, and I just want to take the time to give you the love back," the 42-year-old actor continued. 

Hart told her she was loved in return for the love she had given. He also encouraged her to be strong and stay positive as she had an amazing family who was doing their best to uplift her.

The Pennsylvania native concluded the message with, "My prayers are with you, and more importantly, my heart is smiling because of you. Thank you so much."

Fans reacted to the video by commending Hart, expressing their love to Traci, and sending their warm wishes to the Braxton family.

Traci died at 50 on March 12 after battling esophageal cancer for about a year. Her husband recently released a statement to update the world of his late wife's demise.

The statement read, "We have come to a time where we must inform the public that after a year of privately undergoing a series of treatments for Esophageal cancer, our beloved Traci Braxton has gone on to glory."

As The Blast reported, Toni broke the news of her sister's death on Twitter and Instagram. She wrote that their angel Traci passed in the morning when the snow was falling and had become a snowflake.

She also shared a black-and-white photo of the Braxton sisters on Instagram and requested privacy as the family planned to send the deceased celebrity home to celebrate her life.

The Braxton Sisters: From Music To Different Careers

The famous Braxton sisters are otherwise known as The Braxtons for their music. The group includes the five sisters: Toni, Traci, Trina, Towanda, and Tamar.

On Traci's death, The Sun briefly detailed the essential things to know about the sisters. Toni is the eldest, born in 1967, while Tamar is the youngest sibling, born in 1977.

The sisters started their joint musical performances as The Braxtons throughout the 1980s. They were also featured in a reality show, "Braxton Family Values," premiered in 2011.

Toni attended Bowie State University for a short while and was later discovered at a gas station by Bill Pettaway Jr, a music producer. 

In 1993, she released her debut album, which gained the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. The "Breathe Again" songstress has received several accolades, including seven Grammy Awards.

The late Traci was born in 1971, and her music career began with singing with her sisters. However, later in 2014, she released her solo album, and in 2016, she had her radio show via BLIS.F.M. radio.

The third Braxton sister Trina was a singer and a reality TV star. She dropped her first single "Party or Go Home" in 2012 and presently co-hosts the talk show "Sister Circle." 

Born in 1973, the fourth sister, Towanda, became known for her acting and production skills. She gained recognition for several productions, including "Misguided Behavior" and "Envision."

Like Trina, Tamar, the last-born, also succeeded as a singer and a TV personality. She dropped her album in 2000, in 2013 to 2016, Tamar co-hosted "The Real." In 2019, she won the second season of "Celebrity Big Brother."
